The all-time all state list was posted a few years back by Dr. Billy Wilbanks. Unfortunately he passed away last year and I'm not sure where his research went to. I would suggest buying the book King Football by Mike Bynum if I remember correctly there was a list of all-state teams in the index [Hidden Content]

I'm with you guys I don't think this will last long maybe 2 years before he moves on I dont see him going the college route because of the amount of heat that school would get for hiring him but I think an NFL team would take a chance on him.

Briles is a 4 time state championship winning coach that's the only thing that makes him great

Now if we can get back to the news of Art Briles being back in Texas High School Football...Art Briles will be making $82,000 a year as the head coach at Mt. Vernon. He’s under a two-year contract. He will not have to teach. And he will be able to bring in his own staff.
