Depends on what stepp considers the golden triangle -
It really doesn’t matter at the end of the day when the last one was passed the point is Nederland could use some new schools
-
My question is how does Nederland ISD pass a bond issue for new schools? The last two bonds for building new schools have failed by a wide margin.
-
That bond didn't build anything new though. As you said it was the bandaid bond. The last bond that built anything new was the 1997 bond.
-
correct the other middle school was completed in 1952 which used to be the High School.
-
The last two bonds that called for the building of new schools in Nederland ISD failed the last one in 2012 called for one new elementary school and one new middle school btw that middle school was built 60 years ago
-
The last bond passed in March 1997 that built the Performing Arts Center

Carthage was the best team I saw last year. Totally dominated a good Kennedale team. I'm sorry but Newton would lose by several Touchdowns

More sad news in the world of high school coaching Ray Akins passed away this morning Akins had a 208-51-7 record in 23 years at Gregory-Portland, At Gregory-Portland, Akins led the Wildcats to a state-record 12 consecutive district titles including trips to the state quarterfinals every year from 1970-1979 and a trip to the state finals in 1971. Akins downplayed his record, saying, "A measure of man is how others respect him,” and he was respected by generations of players. He was also the grandfather of New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees.

Said it last week if you don’t beat Refugio in the trenches you won’t beat Refugio Mart did just that. BTW I’m shocked that Refugio only attempted 18 runs on the night and only ended up with 27 yards rushing. Looked like a totally different team than I saw last week vs San Augustine. Congrats to Mart on winning state.
