If coldspring has two good running backs than bc will be in trouble...they havent stopped the run all year and their tackling lately has been terrible....and i really hate to agree with one of the posters but with the talent they have this year they have under achieved..they really only beat one good team and that was silsbee..

[/quote] i totally agree....i think they would be much more efficient on offense....dishon has to much speed for him not to touch the ball more than he does.....they could even run out of the spread with two backs like wos does....i would have dishon at q.b. and menard and hunter as backs but would also switch menard and dishon up some so when i wanted to throw i would have menard at Q.B. but still run some with menard at Q.B. to keep the defense quessing..B.C. has way to many weapons to be limiting themselve so much

your right bleed orange coach is a bc grad and applied for the head coach job when it cam open twice i think..i know one time for sure...big mistake by bridge city not getting him...he  would have made them competative every year.....he has been pretty succesful everywhere he went.....took omaha-pewett (spelling) pretty deep in the playoffs quite a few times....and a great guy.....proven winner..yall have a good one......

if bridge city plays there best they will lose by 14 if coldsprings runs the ball alot and bridge city's offense plays like tonight they will lose by 28

first i am from bridge......bridge city will be one and done.....you are right kosmo the play calling was terrible.....and the defense did not stop the run all year.....bridge city beat one good team this year and that was silsbee and if silsbee wouldn't have turned the ball over so much they wouldnt have won that game....coach huckabee is a good coach he takes the talent he has and runs his offense to perfection with a bunch of different running backs....menard is a great player but i think he puts to much pressure on himself at times...he trys to carry the team on his shoulders which isnt a bad thing but it is a lot of presssure for a 17 year old kid

bridge city had atr least three opportunities inside wos 20 but failed to put up any points...and yes if their defense doesnt show up to play orangefiled they will be in trouble....

we did take a beating the following is the the reasons we got beat imo 1. wos came ready to play bc did not 2. wos had a great game plan to shut down menard 3. wos will knock your head off bc will try and dance with you 4. our non district schedule did not prepare us for the tough teams in district other than kirbyville 5. we got out coached by two great cooridinators. we couldnt run the ball and instead of throwing short   routes whiched worked when we did about 3 times we tried to throw the ball deep all night 6. our defense cannot stop the run they didnt stop silsbee last week silsbee stopped themselves with   fumbles 7. wos was the better team

I am from Bridge City and have watched all of Bridge City games this year. I have not watched Png this year but there is no way bridge city can hang with them. Bridge City is good but they really didnt look that good last friday against a medicore team. Stafford ran the ball pretty good against them and stafford put pressure on menard all night. Bridge City would struggle with png size. And they miss alot of tackles in the backfield. This is just my opinion.

If there were more players and youth for that matter like titan power this world would be a much better place.

i would not move probably the best running back in the district to QB....who was the QB on the JV or cant dishon QB...sure the coach knows best but i wouldnt do it

some very talented players ..but why not name every starter from every team...there was 43 that made either 1st, 2nd or honarble mention...that is 11 short of the 54 starters from each team...that is just crazy.....what happened to the days when you named mvp and nine starters  when you name that many what is the point of having an all district team.....just crazy

wasnt at the games..only got the updates and didnt watch the webcast...did bridge city not hit the ball at all in both games...how many hits did they have in both games.....looks like jasper still has thier number..always have and probably always will...

I think Jasper has Bridge City's number when it comes to them meeting in the playoff's. Know they beat then the last two times they met. Really want Bridge City to win but think Jasper's got their number

so is bridge city's schedule top secret or have they not filled there non district schedule yet.....would be nice to know what there schedule is going to be

anybody know what bridge city's non district schedule will be besides vidor and kirbyville

this is a very washed down all district team ....there are a total of 75 kids counting the first and second teams and the mvp and the offensive and defensive mvp.....there are a total of 132 starters on the 6 teams......that means over 50 percent of the 132 starters made the team....that is just way to many......why have a all district team if over half the starters are going to make the team                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

bridge city's defense played a good game....offense had their bright spots....but there is no way you can expect your quarterback to throw from the pocket against wos defense...you have to roll him out.....but even with the lost they control there own destiny......win the last two and they have a good shot at the third playoff spot unless hj beats both wos and silsbee..

bridge city played a great game big turnover on the punt ...nothing against the guy punting but why has menard not been punting....he punted the last time they punted and made a great kick...also i thought what hurt bridge city was the two onside kicks that were not close to working and the other two times they kicked off they kicked short....i tought field position hurt them all night also....if they correct the few problems and play like they have the last few games they will be fine

i think this game will be like the bridge city and orangefield game and the orangefield and hardin jefferson game..there will be alot of points scored and whoevers defense plays the best in all these games will win....dont think b-c or h-j can stop orangefields offense they just better hope they can match them score for score....and hope they have the ball last....and i am not from orangefield.....

THAT WOULD BE VERY INTERESTING TO KNOW...IF SHE IS THEN THE COACH SHOULD MAKE HER PLAY THEN SHE WOULD ONLY HAVE TO BRING TWO GIRLS UP FROM J.V. TO GIVE THEM ENOUGH TO PLAY.....AND WHY DONT HOOKS TELL HER TO BRING UP SOME J.V. PLAYERS AND PLAY THE GAME....

redbird 5 i am from bridge city and i can tell you right now. they have just as much chance uf not more of a chance than bridge city of making the playoffs....it seems their offense is way ahead of bridge city's and that is sad to say since they have been running their offense for like 4 months and bridge city has been running thiers for three years....if they get their defense going they will be a force to deal with

i couldnt agree morde bevo..everythnig you said i have said....more passes over the middle...corners pressing the receivers....but for some reason they dont make any adjustments

i think that bridge city has the receivers to run the spread and the line did a pretty good job of blocking.....the q.b. has got to get more accurate....he missed alot of open receivers last night....their were a few dropped passes but if the spread is going to work he has to be more accurate....and think they need to throw more passes in the 8 to 10 yard range....also why wouild you no try a field go when you have 4th and 10 from the lcm 10 early in the 3rd quarter....pretty stupid call if you ask me....
