  1. Great season PAM! Coaches, players, and fans...what a great ride!
  2. Good luck to the Newton Eagles!!! GO EAGLES!
  3. Good luck WO-S. GO MUSTANGS!
  4. Good luck to our friends at PAM. GO TITIANS! Play fast, be physical, and when adversity happens, forget it and go on to the next play.
  5. Congratulations BU coaches, players, and fans. It's a long and winding road for the first ever playoff win. Put in the work, trust the process, enjoy the Ws. It's all worth it. GO INDIANS...and T-Wolves.
  6. Why does GCISD have Lee opt up? Why not put them in 5A-D2 and give them an opportunity to compete with schools their size? Give the coaches and kids a fair shot.
  7. Is this Kenny Harrison's first win over North Shore? Ever?
  8. I am reminded of Austin 1985's saying...when it comes to the UIL reading a map and setting up districts based on simple geography and convenience, the UIL is blind, dumb, or both. GO INDIANS!
  9. PN-G 42 WF 21 GO INDIANS!
  10. Nederland has a good coach...the team on the wrong side of RR tracks continues to fight, scrap, and get better for the road win, 34-31. GO INDIANS!
  11. What is that reason? I was surprised when Coach Southern left Huntsville. He's a good coach, he had a solid program in place at Huntsville, and his 2024 team was tough as nails and loaded with talented JRs and SOPHs.
  12. Montgomery beat Dayton 52-46 on September 26th. I do agree that Dayton will beat Lake Creek. GO INDIANS!
  13. Simon is an incredible talent. No one defender will get him on the ground. Love his physical style of running. If he has to, he can make you miss, but he'd rather just run right through you...and he can do it. Status on Ruffin? Another big time player.
  14. Is WOS young this year, SR heavy, or a mix of youth and SRs?
  15. Play the Soph QB, feed the ball to Sean Simon, eliminate turnovers, cut down on the offsides penalties (stop guessing the snap count) and continue playing physical football in the trenches. LP will get on a roll and win a lot of games. You have a good OL and physical DL/LBs. Run the ball and play good defense. Play to those strengths.
  16. OlDawg, do you prefer #7 or #8 at the QB spot? LaPorte's SOPH class is loaded with talent at QB, RB, and WR.
  17. Spidey---maybe some of those young kids will continue to get better? All programs have cycles of success and down years. That's high school sports. When you have good coaches and a good group of kids, enjoy the ride. When your team struggles, circle the wagons and encourage them to get better. Regardless, if those kids put on your school's colors, love them, encourage them, and support them. On my side of the tracks, if our kids struggle, I hope all Indian fans will love them and encourage them to compete and get better. Tearing them down on a public forum isn't helpful or supportive. Take the next two weeks, heal up, get better in practice, and go compete in district. Good things just might happen. GO INDIANS! Peace.
  18. Congrats to Coach Brooks and Lamar. The Cardinals competed. Untimely TOs by the Cardinals in the second half, FT shooting, McNeese blocking everything Lamar put up near the rim, and it's hard to win on the road against a good McNeese team at home. Scrappy, chippy game. Almost had a brawl in Lake Charles.
  19. Surprising move. Huntsville should be favored to win the district next season. Good luck to Coach Southern.
  20. Have any candidates been leaked to the media? Any information about a timetable for interviews, hiring the coach, giving the coach sufficient time to put together a staff (bring in coaches), and get the kids transitioned to a new program, culture, and system?
  21. Good Luck Woodville. Go Eagles! Your friends in SETX are all Eagles fans today!!!
  22. SMH. Sigh. Will Bregman be the next one to leave Houston?
  23. From the Ethridge run, 1975-1976-1977, a few players played in 44 games and they were 41-3 with a state championship in 1975, semi-finals loss in 1976, and state finals loss in 1977. In the 1970s, teams only played 15 games per year, not 16. The playoff path was five games, not six (only one team per district made the playoffs). I believe the kids who started all three years were OL Kern and OL Cooley. The others I'm not sure. I could be wrong. That was 47-49 years ago. Somebody else can follow-up and correct me. Also, the PNG website has a history section and you can probably look it up. RB James Shipley, OL Howard Kern, OL Jeff Cooley, LB Ted Brack, and WR Ronnie Delcambre. I may have missed someone. Too long ago. From his sophmore season through the Texas High game, I believe Jackson Christian has played in 45 games and he has the hardware to match the guys from the 1970s...so he's the clubhouse leader and it would take another long run next year for JRs Aaron Wolford or Connor Bailey to catch him. It's late, I hate math, and I could be all wrong. Someone else can weigh-in. Go Indians!
  24. PA fans, what do you do? A. Fire HC, but keep the OC and DC. B. Fire HC and the OC, but keep the DC. C. Fire HC and the DC, but keep the OC. D. Fire all three, HC, OC, and DC. E. Fire the entire PAM high school staff and start over from the ground up.
