I will give the Ganders one more try, but if I develop a stomach ulcer and don't show up for work tomorrow, it's not my fault.

Dayton Freshman are the most improved group I have seen. They are 4-0 and have scored 110 points and given up 34. BIG improvement. Two games against 5A freshman teams. The STEWART system is working.
Should be an interesting game with them and Crosby then. Crosby's 9th grade A team are 4-0 and have beaten Montgomery 24-0, PN-G 40-8, Dawson 34-16, and Lee 74-6.
In my opinion letting your freshman team beat another by 68 points is classless unless you run the same running play over and over and the other team just fails to stop it. Did anyone see this game?
I wouldn't get too up in arms about it. I can still remember North Shore led by Cedric Cormier beating Lee's freshman even worse than that back in the day. Three years later, it took a Hail Mary on the last play for that same NS bunch to beat Lee by 4. Lee should be used to it at this point this year. I know LP beat them at least 38-0. I'm not sure how bad they have been whipped by the other teams on their schedule. Lee just doesn't have more than one or two guys that really look like they want to play football. -
Crosby 9A - 74 Lee 9A - 6
I knew Lee's freshmen were pretty bad, but wow. They are getting hammered every week. They appeared to have some moderately athletic guys in the scrimmage against Angleton, but I guess I was mistaken. -
Good. He needs to be the qb or this season is all over but the crying.

I never give up hope. I'm just giving my honest prediction. Let's look at the facts. Lee couldn't stop Sterling at all. Sterling was stopped easily by Humble and Oak Ridge both. Humble lost to Dobie and barely beat Channelview, so we know they are not world beaters at this point in the season. Lee got rolled by LP, which is not too bad because LP is a great team this year. Lee got rolled by a Terry team that got whooped by LaMarque and also got beat by Waller. Terry took it easy on Lee to only win by a little less than 40. If that Lee team shows up that showed up against Terry, then you can give Crosby another 2 td's on top of the score that I predicted. Lee looked some kinda awful two weekends ago. Unless everyone is back from injury and playing on all cylinders, Lee just doesn't have the firepower.

Crosby 42 - Lee 7

If Dayton can get a little lead on a team, they would be a lot tougher to score on. I look at them like the Colts. Dayton usually gets up on someone, then the opponent goes away from the run trying to catch up and it's all over. Angleton couldn't move the ball an inch against Dayton that first half, but turnovers and special teams kept them in the game. This allowed Angleton to keep running and pounding the ball. The second half, Dayton wore down and the running game started to work for Angleton. Sounds like the same thing happened against Ike. You could tell Dayton was getting tired on defense. They have a lot of guys going both ways. I feel like they will get their offense to clicking against slightly easier opponents, and their defense will remain more refreshed while the offense keeps them off the field.
You may want to take a chill pill. Does not help to rip everyone making decisions, even if you are right. Just stresses you out.
You're right of course. I may have to explore the option of just not going to the games. It eats me up inside to watch the Ganders perform so poorly, and I don't necessarily like the person I become either. It may be time for me to make my switch to be a Hightower fan now that I have lived in their zone for two years.

Keith has maybe 15 yards on 6 carries Something along those lines He has no room to run The qb is not a threat to run so they just crash down hard on Keith They alsodont run any play action The Terry coaches were seriously calling out the plays beforethe snap Need some more sophisticated hand signals to signal the plays Not like they are really calling anything based on the alignment They just reach thei hand blindly into a bag and pull out a play It's very frustrating to watch such a miserably coached team
