Take it easy! No one's trying to break up your fan club. You're still the president. Keep campaigning. LOL...too funny

Funny, but I cannot find his name in any state top 100 list.
Also, 20.4 points a game is very good, but it does not lead 4A in scoring. It only leads what players are listed on Maxpreps in 4A. Only about half the teams in the state are listed on Maxpreps. Just not an accurate statement to say he leads 4A in scoring.
Exactly. A voice of knowledge and reason. Thank you.

Like I said one of the best in the state and is highly recruited neither he nor I care about anybody elses opinion and it's not supporting my own I'm just stating facts and maybe u should come to a few more games and u will see what I mean he one of the state's leading scorers also leads 4A in scoring so once again one of the best in the state take it or stick it!
Smh...ok...I don't think I need to see more Coldspring games, rather, you should get out more and see some other teams/players. A little perspective would go a long way for you. Like I said, Cole is solid, but being the best player on an average time is just that and these statistics you're using for your argument are a product of that. "Highly Recruited"...sigh

Coldspring has a stud point guard trey cole he is one of the best in the state
Whoah!!! Take it easy. I've seen Cole several times. Good solid player but you're putting him in water over his head with all that "one of the best in the state" talk. Can't fault you for supporting your own though.

You can add Mexia to that list. They are pretty dang good and will only get better. They have only one senior on the roster and are now regional finalist. Their point guard, Mayfield, will be a D1 prospect without a doubt. She's just a freshman.

That could be a serious problem tonight for the tigers then. I have seen ever carry for Caddie the first two weeks of the season and he has been tackled by a single player only once. His yards after contact are outstanding. You can forget arm tackling this kid.Doesnt have to be a confusing scheme if they can't tackle. That is the big issue. They are around the ball, just
can't bring the player with it down. -

That's correct. The final score was 48-13 in favor of Livingston. Cleveland is looking at a very long season from what I saw last night. It's very possible this team finishes the season with only 1 win, maybe no wins.

Correction...Cedric Gambrell is a Jr. One more yr for the big fella. Sorry rest of 22-3A. :D :D

What do you know...another "4a" team making hay in 3a. Whatever.

Washington over Cleveland tonight 73-65. I'm very proud of the tribe tonight. They fought hard but came up short.
-
The Indians get a game effort from the Wildcats tonight but held strong and won convincingly. The final @ Splendora tonight 71-57. Great win for the 22-3A District Champs! Roll Tribe Roll!

Sutherland should be at the top of any current list. That man has won everywhere he's been and will win anywhere he goes. I haven't seen any of English's teams but I've heard he's a pretty darn good coach.
eland.I think Coach English to be considered on these list's, he needs to get his Bulldogs to Austin a few times.
There are a number of great coaches who never get to Austin and there are some who got to Austin without much coaching expertise.
Yeah, no doubt. I played for one. Davy David...state title '86. I can assure it was not from his coaching expertise. No program in Texas has done less with more talent than Cleveland.

The Indians looked really good tonight. They controlled this one from start to finish and turned it into a rout. This is significant because they have had a tendency to play down to the lesser teams but not tonight. No disrespect to Shepherd but I think it's safe to say Cleveland is superior in the talent department. Great win tribe. ROLL TRIBE ROLL!

I've had the priviledge of seeing both teams this yr. They are both full of talent and have legitimate shots to win state at their class levels. I dont see any scenario where Kountze pulls the upset. The "live by the three, die by the three" will be in full effect in this one. Kountze will be able to get plenty of looks from the arc. In both the Yate's games I saw, their opponents got open looks on the perimeter because they double the ball on defense for 94 feet the whole game. If Kountze can make a high percentage, they will compete. If they don't, hello blowout! The area of the game they will be overmatched is on the glass. Offensive boards in particular. It should be entertaining and I hope I can make it to the game.

Cleveland defeats Coldspring tonight 71-60. The game was called with 12 seconds remaining because the two towns have proved once again that they can't be in the same gym thru an entire game. It's so sad. Tonight's altercation was started by some Cleveland fans and some Coldspring's players. I feel bad for our Indian team because they played so hard and were disrespected by their own fans. It's real simple Cleveland fans, support your own team and let the rest go. You don't have to cheer for your opponent but you always have to respect them. Great win Indians! Roll Tribe Roll!

This has been an ongoing issue for Cleveland for years...I know many schools have some bad apples. Its a shame that some have to ruin things for all. Hopefully one day soon this will end.
I will continue to hope for that but I won't hold my breath. I wish the student body could just embrace the fact that their team has the potential to be one of the better ones in the state. Lets just focus on that for a change. -
Correction AAW. The final was 72-61. Sorry about that.

Once again the coaching concepts being used in Cleveland basketball remain a mystery. Nevertheless, the Indians pull out a victory over Liberty by the score of 54-47.
-
After a 22 point lead is reduced to two in the second half, the Indians hold on to defeat Huffman by the score of 73-66. A win is a win but Cleveland will have to stay focused against the top tier teams moving forward or they will go down. All that being said, congrats Indians on the win.

Cleveland takes down Splendora tonight by the score of 73-58. Great win Indians. Keep it going. Roll Tribe Roll!

Cleveland takes down Tarkington big tonight by the score of 91-49. Congrats Indians on a well played game!

Unfortunately for your Rebels it's name your score when it comes to BS in district. They will beat Evadale by as many as they want to when they come to EHS. Bullock actually shot the ball rather poorly in the first meeting and the Wildcats were fouling way to much. If they want to beat the Rebels by 70 points, then that's what they'll do. No insult to the Rebels. It just is what it is.
