Yea I know..do ya'll ever go on the other website the Txhssn? There are a few people from cisco on there that have been talking about our game coming up. I think its neat. And I have to agree...this week its been awesome talking our talk..but after this week, I will support those eagles and will go watch them play! We may be rivals, but its kind of like a family thing, I can mess with you, but dont let anyone else I'm excited about our game tomorrow and I hope the best for both teams. I cant believe its already here! I know our boys from both sides will go out there and give 110% on the field and at the end, who ever wins, wins. Lets just hope its the WILDCATS!!!!

Jasper would be nuts to get rid of Brooks. Brooks history is excellent. Give him another year and they will be good. Kirbyville - if Alvarez was to win it all I could see him trying to move up in classifications. I think that if Alavarez is going to leave than this will be the year. His kids have all graduated and the meat of his talent will graduate this year. There will be several skill players next year but not nearly as much talent than he has this year. So i say if he gets a good offer then he is probably gone if he dont leave this year he is not going anywhere. If Alavarez does leave then dont get your hopes up because he has a couple of assistants that could step up and continue to improve the progam!! Right Neece?? Please..if Alvarez does leave..the only person that better come back is over in Coldsprings..LOL hopefully he would come back and take his spot...and his name would be BARBAY!!! We dont need assistants stepping up..we need barbay back! that would be great It isn't that often that rykerx144, sloydjt and I agree on much other than Kirbyville is an up and coming powerhouse{ I really do pull for K'ville against everyone but Newton } but I have to say that everything that I hear from the K'ville Fans that I have talked to, is that Barbay and Kirbyville would be a Fantastic Combination and could only lead to a bigger, brighter and upwardly mobile future for the entire program. Not saying to blow smoke, but because almost everyone I've spoken with were disappointed when he got away. It was heartwrenching to see him go. We all loved him and his family so much. He is a great coach and was a key component to our defense. The first year he left you could definetely tell the difference. I just hope that he will come home and coach here again!

Sorry Eagledad08 didn't mean to hurt your feelings, but come on...your eagle fans have been doing just as much talking as kville's. As for as the stadium goes...Newton has not always been 2A, the stadium has always been small, that's nothing new. Its just fact that when Kville and Newton play In Newton..there is no room to sit. Nothing against you or the coach..nor players, nor fans..yes kirbyville does have a very nice stadium, and over the last few years has become even nicer. Thanks to a few local businesses We all know who you are!!!! But that's what we love about playing in Newton. We love the fact that its a packed house! People standing on the fenceline...honestly..if you played us in kville..there would be no seats there either. Not enough room for that many people. Just too many people come to see that game. Lighten up a little..its just a game :

Granfan checked out there stadium info and it only seats 1800 thats not going to be near enough. Heck there will be that many just from Kville..lol Small stadium. I'm with her..I know Newton would never give up home-field advantage...but its just not enough room for everyone!
