  1. Will SE Texas see a drastic change in Head Coaching jobs this year?
  2. I might venture over to yalls neck of the woods and catch this game. Sounds like it will be a doozy. Where is the game being played?
  3. Crosby is a playoff team. I believe they will win the game by 14
  4. Probably going to be Cleveland, Coldspring, Huffman Possibly Cleveland, Splendora, Coldspring If Coldspring looses to Splendora and Cleveland, and Splendora beats Coldspring and Cleveland Splendora 6-1 Cleveland 6-1 Coldspring 5-2 Huffman 5-2 Coldspring wins head to head vs Huffman
  5. Nederland has a great shot to win their first and second round game this year. Their true test will be the third round where they will probably catch Friendswood...
  6. BATTLE TESTED ? Looks like everytime Coldspring has been BATTLE TESTED this season they ended up with a loss, strength of schedule is overrated (look at college football). This will be a good match up in 22-3A, no doubt the best match up of the year. District Championship on the line. Both teams do compare to each other with athletes.
  7. An A-D is only as good as his assistants. It puts a bad taste in your mouth if you arent able to hire people you trust and know when you go into a new situation. Administration needs to understand that hiring coaches for the AD is just like them hiring Teachers. All schools have Stipends already set for asst. coaches and that is how much they will get paid for coaching, but bmtdc1996 is absolutley correct when he says that hiring coaches usually depends on which teaching field is open in the school.
  8. Shepherd was playing their 5th string quarterback, no wonder they only scored 6 points. Splendora doesnt need to be counting their chickens yet. I am still going with Tarkington in this one.
  9. Why do people try to dogg these coaches out on this forum all the time. These coaches have done the best with what they were dealt. Alverez went into Kirbyville and turned the program around, K-Ville has the same kids they always have. Give them props for a job well done. Everyone knows good athletes makes good coaches but GREAT COACHES win year in and year out.
