Well, if I had mentioned DUI then your response might make some sense. I said there was no such law in Texas as Possession of a Deadly Weapon. I will overlook that fact that there is no DUI in Texas either but assume that the reporter meant DWI. Like I said, if the reporters don't know the answer, they will make it up. I could care less if the guy goes to jail for life. If he did the crime, he can do the time. Anyone that sees a report in the media and believes that the reports is all facts in the case is likely mistaken.

Pretty much. Rankings are just for discussion purposes. Lumberton has won 3 and Dayton has won 1. If Lumberton continues to win, they will stay ranked higher. If they start losing like some people think they will, they will drop in the polls. Polls have a way of working themselves out as the year goes along. Not much rocket science there.

I say let's give Lumberton their day in the spotlight. They are 3-0 bringing in some big scores (even if it is against lame teams) and playing the district favorite. I think there will be a lot of attention and interest on this game from area fans to see if Lumberton is for real or if they are just pretenders again.

Lincoln's football crowd was dismal for several years. That was especially during the last few teams of Joe Washington. I saw some games there where they didn't have 100 fans on the home side.

School district boundaries have nothing to do with city limits. They are two different government bodies. Parts of Port Arthur go to PAISD, PNGISD and NISD.

There is nothing wrong with playing a team like Bay City but it would probably be nice to play out of town where you could drive about 20 minutes and be there.
