I say let's give Lumberton their day in the spotlight. They are 3-0 bringing in some big scores (even if it is against lame teams) and playing the district favorite. I think there will be a lot of attention and interest on this game from area fans to see if Lumberton is for real or if they are just pretenders again.
Lincoln's football crowd was dismal for several years. That was especially during the last few teams of Joe Washington. I saw some games there where they didn't have 100 fans on the home side.
School district boundaries have nothing to do with city limits. They are two different government bodies. Parts of Port Arthur go to PAISD, PNGISD and NISD.
There is nothing wrong with playing a team like Bay City but it would probably be nice to play out of town where you could drive about 20 minutes and be there.
When it first hit the Gulf, some of the predictions were south of Corpus Christi. As it moved farther west the predictions slowly started creeping northward.
Don't listen to shorttexas, it will slow down the discussion. It will be a Category 4 and it is heading right for us. ;D Now back to your reguarly scheduled program.
Hey Ned, read it again. I only changed his words from "us" to hitting "anyone". You have to read his original post to realize that. You are reading something into it that is not there. I don't play spelling Nazi. It would take up too much of my time but I have a great photo that you can copy if you want to continue to play one.
WHAT? Five pages of comments and there is no storm? ;D From the rotation of the clouds in the Tampa Bay area and in the Gulf, it sure looks like it has a very good potential.
