Polls are nothing more than a conversation piece. They generate discussions. If everyone agreed with every poll, there would be no point in them. Obviously you are getting your money's worth because it is sure getting you to discuss the current poll. ;D

I know that it looks like LC-M is the favorite but it sure seems strange to think that PN-G beating LC-M is an upset.

Some teams just play better against certain teams. Who can tell why but for what it's worth, Central has Nederland's number.

It is still early but LC-M is supposed to make the big push for the playoffs this year. Starting district at 0-2 would sure make things tough for them.

Vidor was flagged more than twice but Nederland declined about 4 of them since Vidor lost yardage on the play. I don't remember how many was actually walked off.

Hanging on to the ball might help.

After being wrong about Nederland 3 times (I think he gave us a weak Forest Brook), patitan needs a break. I guess if you predict a loss enough times it will eventually come true.

Actually if you want to start naming Nederland's run of good receivers, I think it starts with Eric Cammack and then Yoder.

That is a great win for Lumberton. The 3-0 non-district schedule means nothing if they don't pull of the win tonight. Now they have got to believe that they can play with other teams in the district. Congratulations on 4-0.

The team with the most points on the boards. What does it matter if the bad call was the last play of the game or if it was in the first quarter? Bad calls happen. There is no philosophical victory. That is akin to the "moral" victory that people talk about for playing a better game than expected but still lose.
