  1. Nederlands defense the last two weeks were without Brock Pryor, and I hear he will be back in the lineup come Friday night.  Now thats good news for Ned bad for GCM.  You guys from 19-4A are not making predictions because you think GCM is better, you just want them to win. I saw the stat sheet posted on this thread, it also comes with a newspaper article in the Port Arthur News, Larry Neumann was not overlly thrilled the way the dogs played, he thought we could (should) have done a lot better.  I think this time around we will.
  2. Its hard for a team to be fired up for every game all year, we got up for the big boys and kind of played down to the others but now starts the playoffs, Larry won't have to say much to get the team jacked up for this Bi-district game. I look for Nederland to dominate.
  3. Nederland 42 GCM 14, maybe GCM has improved some but Nederland has not been standing still our offense has improved 100 % from the first of the season, and the defense is just awesome, and the GCM offense will feel their wrath for the third time this year.
  4. It's really comical to listen to some of the sobbing about the refs doing in the orange county teams. and if you really have a video showing you were wronged by the officials show it don't talk about it. I've been a bulldog and a bulldog fan for 52 years and I've seen it go both ways, that's just part of football on the high school level. I'll be expecting to see that video soon.
  5. can't answer how our champs did against those 19 4a teams just yet cause we ain't done with em.
  6. If given the opportunity to play at home would be great..it would also benefit all our concession stand groups which are cut out of everything if we play somewhere else.
  7. The dog defense will be living in the Ozen backfield friday night and I don't think they can stop our offense being as deverse as it is, throw in home field, homecoming, great fans you get a big ole Bulldog win.
  8. My Bulldogs have played both of you..Vidor has the more potent defense and PNG the more potent offense. PNG will need their best defensive effort of the year come Friday night to win. probably will be pretty high scoring...38-35...probably PNG.  A word to 2 cents about his defense can shut down anyone in our district.....well you're already wrong cause you did'nt stop us, and our offense is just now getting it together.
  9. Vidor has not won a State Championship nor have they ever played in the championship game.
  10. two cents you keep whinning about losing your RB causing Vidor to lose..right..well Nederland had two starters (2) suspended for the Vidor game and the PN-G game. We could make an argument that we could have won more easily with those two players there but that would not be fair to the rest of our team(team) the guys that replaced them played incredible games at a time when the (team) needed them.  Besides the suspensions we have had our hands full with some key injuries too, that's all part of football. (whinning is not) Also be careful what you wish for cause if you get us again we'll shut ya down even worse.  Just my Bulldog opionion.
  11. Most every every team we have beaten has come at us doing about 400 or more yards a game, and when we've gotten through with them it is usuall only about half or less, the fact is teams have not been able to do to us what they have been doing to everyone else and that is the defense I'm talking about.  The offense was changed in the off season and we are getting better each week. They come through when they have to. Some one a little while back asked where the JV and Freshman games will be played at Central, does anyone out there know???
  12. The dogs will cover the corners just fine, none of our opponents have had a lot of success attacking us there. If I were Cental I would'nd put a lot of stock in what their other teams have done to the dogs in the past..every pot has to sit on its on bottom. The dogs 31 Jags 14.
  13. You know after the Lion QB scored on the first play I'm sure the Lion fans thought he would be able to do that all night long...well the Bulldog defense made sure it did not happen, and If the injured RB "Bull" had played we would have solved him to. After all only one player at a time can have the ball and our defense lived in the backfield of the Lions..ugh.. is'nt that where Bull would have been? A little food for thought for anyone doubting this defense....next year most of it will be back with even more experience....that's scary. woof woof.
  14. Well the two players got re-instated and some of you hate it so badly that you just cannot let it go.  You heard this, you heard that, you assume this, but you really know nothing, you just heard it and that's good enough for you....I really hope if you guys or your kids every get a little bit sideways people don't judge you the way you are these kids. 64 was right missing the mcm game is like a season, they know they let their team down, the students, their parents, the town..they can't undo it, I'm sure they wish they could. What would really be nice if everyone would close out this thread..enough has been said.
  15. I think I remember reading that the exact punishment for the two Ned boys would be re-evaluated after additional information was gathered, and this was before the Vidor game. obviously with their reinstatement that was done, I do not know or have knowledge of that information, and some of the Judges on this thread don't either.  Just a little info for 58shu if  the guys reinstatement was because of our opponent, then it would have happened last week before we played PN G...that was a bigger game for the dogs than this week and if you don't know that then you are truly clueless.
  16. I think PN G has lost all the district games it's gonna lose, and this game will not be close at all.
  17. Nederland folks will be praying for the young man and his family.
  18. Should be a real good match up Bulldogs defense against Lions Offense, but come game time the Bulldogs will have something the Lions don't, about 9000 screeming delierous fans that will make it real hard for the Lions to hear.  They did'nt get the full benefit of the PN G fans cause the visitors stands in Livingston are so small.  Bulldogs win it..no score prediction just know that the dogs will win.
  19. Of course had the play worked everyone would be singing the praises of Coach Faircloth, and if he had went for the FG and it failed the same people would be second guessing the coach for that too.  But none of those decisions would have mattered cause that Bulldog defense was the reason for the Indians quandry in the first place.  Better luck next year.
  20. I guess all things being close I'll go with Coach Neumans track record, 12wins 6 losses total 1 and 1 against Faircloth. Bulldogs 24 Indians 15
  21. It was a really good first game of the season and everyone knew WOS would continue to be very tough, but Nederland found out some good things about themselfs last night, namely to never give up. This game will help both teams especially around playoff time.
  22. Ned 28 WOS 14..Dayton was a good test for us and even though it was only a scrimmage it could just have easily gone Ned's way score wise.  Bulldogs defense will be the difference.  After Bulldogs offense jells...they would win 35-14.
  23. Just to follow up on the Freshman and the Senior who are equal in talent, I saw it a good number of years back in Nederland and the Coach picked the Senior. He said the tie breaker was Senior leadership, you hear coaches use that phase a lot and I think most coaches would make this kind of decision.
