  1. 409 represented well in the tournament!
  2. BC is penciled in at East Chambers I believe
  3. BC was missing over half the team due to illness
  4. 88-38 Final Bridge City undefeated District Champs!
  5. Would love to see a BC/OF match up! OF played the BC JV team with a couple Varsity players early in the season when football was in the playoffs. Fully staffed would be a great game!
  6. After this year, we don’t care who wins.
  7. Exactly, Yates was favored to blow BC out and that didn’t happen. In fact, BC led the entire game and lost in the last few seconds of the game. We will see how playoffs go and BC will be ready however it goes.
  8. That’s what they said about Yates last year too and we saw how that turned out.
  9. I know! They shouldn’t even be on the court!
  10. We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one.
  11. Was that because they were pressing like that other guy said they didn’t? Silsbee played the best game they’ve played all season tonight. BC hasn’t played that bad in a while and still won…BC made tons of bad decisions and selfishness almost cost us the game. Daspit made the right decision in be 4th quarter to change that up.
  12. You must have been watching a different game. BC has several players who can out handle anyone on silsbee. Silsbee pressed the whole game! BC was the better team even with having a very crappy game!
  13. Did it not seem like everything BC did tonight was a travel to Jackson? Good Lord it was ridiculous!
  14. Keep showing up for them! They’ll be back on top.
  15. The 55-51 game was by far the more accurate game. I can link much better game footage than HUDL for anyone to make that assessment. Even in the 72-55 game, the score was 36-32 at half time. In any game, the more aggressive team fouls more especially if they’re playing full court defense for 32 minutes. Somehow every time a game is played at Silsbee, they don’t call blatant fouls against them. That game last night lasted almost an hour and a half due to all of the soft calls. Seemed like an attempted bail out. It’s been no different in the past. Last night, Silsbee shot 32 free throws, BC shot 16 free throws and 4 flagrant shots. One ref called 18 fouls, one called 17 and the third called 3. I actually thought BC had a decent turnout considering the atmosphere that has been there in the past. The amount of law enforcement present speaks for itself on that one. No matter who is playing, the fans should stay till the final buzzer to support their team. Fans trickling out a couple at a time is less obvious than a mass exodus! Just sayin.
