I don't know if it's true or not but it seems like the kids are getting hosed and that's 1 of the many reasons the talent level is down. What I mean by that is I'm assuming that the Roger Goodell's of the league are focusin to much on who's breaking the spirit of a rule and trying to police this public sports forum. You would think that they would use their time and energy on developing kids and coaching their kids up. I'm positive its the reason majority of the parents are signing Jr. up, right?

In my opinion the rules and league are good. There is not another league that operates like ours, it is like a jr high league. It is better than any other league I have seen.
I remember when we all played only each other in our own town. The kids like playing other schools.
I agree rules should be looked at every year and adjusted appropriately. This should be looked at when the season is over.
If anything the rules have shown is thst scores can be controlled and running up scores is not appropriate under any excuse or circumstance.
I understand every school doesn't gave the "talent "like Bmt and Ned. Hopefully one day we will meet those standards. Good luck

Prayers for the WOS kid. Hate to hear that. One of my kids broke his wrist yesterday so prayers for him also.

Honestly, I think its because at first their program was very weak and they were labeled as the easy win on each teams schedule. They have worked very hard to turn that program around and I think that personally they have done an amazing job. I know their posts can seem very cocky at times and a lil on the bragging side but these guys call it flappin and that swhat they are doing is flappin. I don't think that they are ben t out of shape just eager to prove themselves to doubters and haters of their organization which in turn is just crazy flappin! We play them this week and personally I cant wait. My son is now in junior high so I asked to help this years Senior team and have never seen them play but have heard many good things about their coaches and talent. It will be a chess match come Saturday morning and word on the Mom- Line is that they have been practicing extra extar for this one so I know its gonna be the one to watch. Good luck to both teams and No injuries only a great rivalry to begin and good sportsmanship!!!

They say it's all fun and games on here....But at the same time their other half is using a different form of social media to communicate with Men on here. Who's sensitive again and getting bent quick as you call it.

That's a big get for McNeese. IMO he's the 8th best player in the Triangle area probably ranks in the top 5 in upside. If the Bolfing kid is the same one I saw play at Montgomery I actually think Seay could beat him out at the qb spot. I think his more natural position is safety or maybe OLB depending on how big he gets and also his best chance if he has Sunday aspirations. Should have a great career in Lake Charles if the staff stays in place and he stays healthy. Good luck to him, glad Ned won't have him when Crosby comes to town next year.

We knew about it, but it wasn't an issue. I told my son if he ever didn't shake an opponent's hand before & after he would have to answer to me, but that's how I run my house. PA was trying to intimidate, it wasn't a big issue, but I made a note of it. If a particular Team's Coach condones this behavior, that's on him & his program. I don't think it should be blown out of proportion, especially when the kids were practically hugging after the game. These kids are Friends & admire  & respect each other. Can't say that for the Parents & Fans (including myself) LOL
We have All said things we regret or done things we wish we would have thought before acting. Every day we say good morning is another chance to get it right. Thank God

I dont know you, I didnt witness what happened in the game, and I know nothing about your sons. I do know what its like to have someone run down my child and I know the rage that creates in me as a father.  From your posts in this thread I would say that you have worked your whole life to overcome the circumstances in which you grew up and to protect your children from the dangers you had to face.  If that is true then you have shown your sons what a man really is.  By posting your response here you have defended them like a father defends his kids in a manner that is equal to the way in which they were attacked.  My only advice is to continue to be the example you have been to them so far.  Let your rage pass and show them that a man can be above the criticism of others and forgive those who speak from ignorance.  You and your sons are to strong to be hurt by the word of fools.

Tell me what defines him as a THUG, then I will take you to a true THUG, and let you compare. However I came across a few names and trust and believe I will talk to you, I always said watch what you say when it comes to someone child. I can promise you this Leon knows nothing about the street life to be called a THUG, but DADDY lived it and changed his life over the years. In saying that sometimes it's good to know where you come from, so you can show a person the difference. Come on Lamar i respect you a great deal but lets not make excuses already. You guys have finally had another coach come on board and he conducted a draft to win not to allow your gransons team to be the stacked team!!! I give him much props for not allowing the All mighty Toby to get who he want and the other team sucks!!! So who really had a the ALL STAR TEAM!!!

46-7= 39, so you were correct!!! We learned alot these past few years, we will give the league what they want!! so for everyone that wants too know we will not beat anyone by 40 pts this year because we will get kicked out of the league. So its safe to say that we will cover any spread under 40 this year. lol

Look I assure you that I don't always agree with Mike "AAW"...but this is what's wrong with our society...we get mad at the effect instead of the cause. The root cause was a few players trying to make a statement of some sort...I can only make a summation that the intended statement was " we are about to go to battle and we are not friends for the next 48 min"...did the media have a hand in blowing this out of proportion..."yes", but ultimately the blame falls squarely on the actions, "the cause" not "the effect"! I played in two of the original Beaumont Bowls, back when they were televised and it was just West Brook and Central. This was when 20,000 plus showed up...when the rivalry was at its biggest point...we met at the fifty and we extended a hand to each other and strapped it up and went to battle...it's so simple...is it right or wrong...but blaming any media source in today's day and time will do nothing but help fuel similar actions in the future. On the other hand before folks persecute the individuals and program...remember these are kids and they do make mistakes and we should give the coaches the opportunity to act on a corrective level, which I'm sure they will. In addition, when that happens it does not need to be out in the public, but in the coaches office and it does not need to be some over blown event. All this bickering on this thread needs to be dropped...let it go folks.

Wow I go to Florida and all this happens? Lol. I was at that coin flip with our camera guy. Honestly didn't think anything about it besides what you see in rivalries sometimes. Is it the best sportsmanship...no. Is it a big deal no way. Honestly if you get a chance to be on the sideline and hear what players from multiple schools bark at each other, refusing to shake hands is mild.

I have no problem, my daughter has the second best split on the team outside of the coaches daughter!!! She couldnt be second to a better person!! My daughter and his daughter have been hated on all your by your staff and they hold the keys to the others girls regional bid, Mr Run DMC!! The strange thing is they also hold the keys to their own regional because they qualified in  open events, that means with no help from other girls !! Their hard work is paying off and i'm proud of both of them!! First of all you are not suppose to mention kids name on this site, so if you are all that mention who you are (Run DMC). If you know anything about your school( Mr Run DMC) you would know that the men and women have different coaches, so with that being said how did he screw the boys when he dont coach the girls nor his daughter. Explain that, fool!!!
I just dont understand the people on this site, the Ozen boys track team only had 7 runners and finished with 50+ points to finish 4th overall so who really dont care!! The 4x100 is when one of their best legs re-injured himself and thats the only reason the alternate ran any relay. They are called alternates for a reason, they run any leg that cant go no matter the position. Real coaches do not change their lineup because of injuries and with that being said  the 4x200 had the lead with a freshman anchor that replaced the injured and the 4x400 had the lead also with an alternate. Its just called qualify to get out of district, state championships are not won in a district meet nor are the won if you fail to qaulify. So who is the donkey!!!
