    brackets are not final yet. they should be done by tues or maybe wed if rain...

    still kicked Buna's, East Chambers, Kuntze and Dvills A$$.  maybe if we were in that division and we would win district. We just have not had the ball fall our way in district, still batting over .350 as a team just not getting the breaks.  Buna will see Shelbyville the second round and see that they are for real. they are playing good ball.  Estes is way better than any of Buna's pitchers.

    As for us all we have to do is get in, It don't matter who wins district, everyone starts with a 0-0 record in the playoffs!!!

    pithcher makes a pickoff move by steping back off the rubber and over throws to first. the runner dives  back and the ball goes past the first baseman. the runner then gets up and runs towards second.  In this process the ball goes under the fence while he is heading toward 2nd. Is he awarded 2nd or 3rd?????? We have had 2 different umps call this differently????

    I have a question. I know it is illegal to touch a player of the opp. team..such as SS touching a lead off runner at 2nd.  But is it allowed to kick dirt intentionally on the baserunner while he was taking his lead.  I was at a game an you could see the SS looking down and kicking dirt on the back of a player on purpose.   

    Is this interference????

    No this is not interference.....

    so could a batter kick dirt on the catcher while the ball is coming in???? Same difference??

    Do you people look at stats or um 6 0 record? Yeah the districts not hot, but neither is yours kirbyville. And when you play with the big dogs you won't last. See winners, like bunas baseball, use district to warm up for STATE:) go coogs :)

    Kirbyville played almost the same teams but came out with better records. the whole team is full of winners, 9 of them were on the state football team this year so they know how to handle preasure.

    As for Kville's bats, the team is batting .385 in district, .348k for the season. Our bats are far better than Buna

    Pitching about equal. Hazlewood and Clark match up well. As for Crawford vs Hillen, I would take Crawford, he can hit spots Hillen can't. He is really struggling this year.

    I just still see Kirbyville being the better team right now...

    Now both teams need to concentrate on district and playoffs, don't over look anyone, so we can see this awsome matchup in late May....

    congrats kville....but remember buna boys started off slow last year....and kville didn't even face a number one pitcher last night ti'll the end of the game!  the boys will pull around and when they...i promise you from my experience....they wil VERY hard to stop!!  this win will come back to bite ya cats.

    Kirbyville is the real deal wether you like it or not. & incase you can't understand SARCASM i know exactly who Josh Clark is. But he isn't nothing in the 'Ville's book. So keep talkin your trash... and keep doing what you do. OBVIOUSLY its totally working (thats why K-ville beat Buna) haha.

    if josh clark aint nothin in "the ville's" book, then you  might wanna go back and look the official books. a groundout to second was the best "the ville" could do. I recall him making some people look dumb on his nasty curve and blowing the fastball right by them. Kirbyville knows absolutely nothing about baseball.

    You are right....againt our bottom of the line up that only saw him one time.  you saw Hazlewood all night, and the official book said best you could do is 1 hit, a blooper over second base.  "I recall him making making your hole team look dumb." and the official book said Kville 4 Buna 0.  So I guess we do know a little about baseball!!

    This tread is getting old!!!

    Look the bottom line is we beat you, yaw are a good team. I hope we both represent this area in the Regional Finals. Untill then....chill with the name calling and insults!!!

    Where did Kirbyville's hitting power go when ya played those soaring Woodville Eagles?

    We out hit woodville 12 - 5 and 5 or 6 outs were linedrives to center or left. The ball was not bouncing our way that night.

    As for who is better, I would still take Kirbyville.

    Rankings are based on record!!!

    Kirbyville has better record, this would include all games no matter who is pitching. If you are not basing on records alone then here is more information that shows Kville is better:

    1. Buna lost to Silsbee - Kirbyville beat them bad twice (17-1)

    2. Buna lost to HJ - Kirbyville beat HJ

    3. Buna lost to HF 11 -0. Kirbyville lost as well but only by 1 run

    4. Buna barley beat Kountze, Kirbyville spanked them

    5. Buna beat Deweyville 5 - 0. Kirbyville beat them (17-2)

    6. Last but not least Kirbyville beat BUNA!!!

    Buna struggles against anyone who can hit their spots. yes, they have good pitching but their bats need improvement. If a pitcher or the defense has a off game, they lose.  That's the way it was last year and the way it is this year.

    It is considered a football area by the amount of Divion I recruits that come from this area. Have not done the math, but I would bet there are more Divion I players from the golden triangle playing in college, than most of the areas in TEX.  Its not how many people attend games, its the athletes. Just like a basketball game, many people attend the games for various reasons and many leave before the game ends, (even at HJ, KOUNTZE, etc.) But over all, more football players are chosen to play college football  in this area than basketball. 

    In fact I think is a state thing rather than a area thing.  Most college recruits come from Texas, Florida and CAL.

    as for your district being better, Please!!!  I believe our record against your district is 3 - 0.

    with a 38 to 0 runs scored and allowed. ;D ;D ;D

    As for our first district game, they got all the brakes, we didn't.  If you remember the HJ vs BUNA game, which BUNA LOST, it was like that game.  we out hit them 12 - 6. and had 4 or 5 line shots to center and left field that were at them. Just didn't drop or were at them.

    When line drives become triple plays and little bloopers become game winners, anything is possible in the game of baseball.

    But if I were Buna, I would hope Kville wins that district. that way they would have to play them latter in the playoffs that way you had more time to prepair or rest their pitchers. Some of the pitchers are still struggling.
