  1. Sorry, No Dish Network. It will air on Time Warner all over Southeast Tx, but not on dish. Sheffield Productions is donating a DVD of the game to both schools to be used any way they wish in the way of fundraisers. Maybe you can buy or view the game through one of the school fundraisers.
  2. This game will air Wed on Time Warner Channel 18. On another thread it is explained fully how all broadcast proceeds are to go to the Project Graduation groups from both schools
  3. For Friday night's taping of Hamshire Fannett at Bridge City all proceeds of the broadcast will go to the Senior Project Graduation parties for each school. Sheffield Productions will be there will full crew, announcers and replay capabilities. The crew has volunteered their wages to go to the parties. Time Warner has waived their broadcast fee and Mike Sculley at Apple Towing has sent a $500 donation to be divided between the two schools also. Between the crew's wages, Time Warner, Apple Towing and other sponsors for the broadcast; Sheffield Productions will present each Project Graduation group with a check for over $1,000. Besides the initial checks, all night long on the broadcast, Charlie Jehlen and Greg Chesser ( announcers for Sheffield Productions) will appeal to the viewers for donations for either or both schools. Special footage consisting of previously unseen photos and video will be shown of Bridge City flooding and devastation. This showing and the appeals from the announcers will give viewers opportunity to do something to help these Project Graduations and their seniors. The appeal will address the fact that if someone hasn't had a chance to work or volunteer in either stricken community they can still make a difference by making a donation to help these students with their all night Graduation Parties. For those not familiar with the concept of the all night parties; it is a great gesture for the parents and business of the community to put together a non-alcohol, drug free night for the seniors to celebrate their graduation. These allnight parties are typically sponsored by the local businesses. Imagine the dire straits of businesses in these two communities, after Ike, having extra money to put toward something like this. Picturing the conditions of these businesses started the seed of an idea for the donations for the Seniors. Anyone wanting to donate to these schools can PM me for the addresses for the Project Graduations or watch the viewing Wed ( Time Warner channel 18 )where the addresses will be posted several times throughout the broadcast .
  4. Sheffield Productions will be taping both "A" & "B" games. As part of the Central Middle School Fundraiser; DVDs will be duplicated and sold at the stadium for taking home that night. Good luck to both teams. Canines and Bullpups today . . . BULLDOGS next year.
  5. \ What are the dates of the two rounds of playoffs and the Super Bowl weekend? Sheffield Productions ( the crew that taped the Woodville SuperBowl in 07) has a couple of open weekends and would like to be considered for your playoffs. Call 409 728-9150 or pm me for details and pricing.
  6. Post your predictions and then watch the game next Wed night on channel 18. Sheffield Productions will be at Durley Stadium with full crew and replay capabilities. Game to air at 7:00PM
  7. Kelly vs St Thomas to air on channel 18 this Wed night at 7:00. Sheffield Productions Charlie Jehlen, Brian Roberson and the full crew taped the game last Friday. Full homecoming crowning and Senior night part of the telecast.
  8. Sheffield Productions Charlie Jehlen, Brian Roberson and full crew will be at the Kelly/St Thomas game. Game will air next Wed night, Channel 18 ( Time Warner Cable ). Watch for Kelly to get back on track and full homecoming festivities to be shown.
  9. Kelly game against St Pius airs Wed night on Channel 18. Sheffield Productions and crew taped it last Friday night for tonight's viewing.
  10. NBC Channel 4 will tape the game Friday, using Sheffield Productions as the film crew and air it @ 10:30PM the same night. James Ware and Charlie Jehlen share the mic duties.
  11. I was thinking of that too. I need to find out when his open dates are. Only thing is, the pressbox at Dan R. Hooks isn't the most friendliest. By that I mean there is not much room up there. We are going to be broadcasting the game and I fully expect Stelly to do that one also. It will be a very tight fit up there with just us doing it. Hey guys, Because of tight quarters several years ago with visiting radio crew and the home radio crew ; we did set our guys up in the bleachers among the fans. Our broadcaster were not estatic about the situation but, we did our regular taping with our two announcers separated from the fans by only a yellow piece of tape. Hey, I thought it one of our better broadcasts , while "those announcers" vowed never to return to such accomodations. Needless to say, different announcers and different attitudes now. Would looooove to tape at Dan Hooks Stadium. Our open dates are Oct 24 and 31. These dates and prices are discussed fully under another thread on this forum. Thanks for the interest.
  12. First of all, the dates are Oct 24 & 31. There have been two schools inquiring on each of those dates, but no committment and no contact for several weeks. Without sounding capitalistic or mercernary; there is a price tag involved for Sheffield Productions to tape a game. There are production costs for the crew and equipment and although Time Warner has agreed to a reasonable price for the entire season, airtime is not cheap. Rather than placing game costs on this forum for all to read, it would probably be more professional for serious inquiries to contact Sheffield Productions at 409 728-9150 or [email protected] or pm me through this board. While the Orangefield/Bridge City matchup will be a grand one to tape, watch and attend, I don't think Orangefield is on the Time Warner Network. We opened the season last year taping Orangefield and Hamshire Fannet and were told none of the fans could watch the game. A sad day for all concerned. I still have that game on DVD for No Charge if someone with either booster club or school would like a copy.
  13. If you are a fan, booster club, or business wanting your team broadcast on channel 18: please contact Sheffield Productions. If another production group has already taped your school or has an upcoming game scheduled and you were surprised and disapointed with the single camera "home movie" aspect you watched: please contact Sheffield Productions. Zero Week premiered with Westbrook hosting Ozen on KBTV Channel 4. James Ware and company will also cover the Lumberton Central matchup; again using Sheffield Productions as their production crew. Having a partial schedule filled, plus the addition of the Lumberton/Central game ; Sheffield Productions has two "open" Fridays left on the schedule. With season at the halfway point, this is the time to have your High School taped on one of those Friday nights. Utilizing a traditional 4 - camera shoot and multi replay capabilities, the broadcast could become a treasured keepsake for years to come. Is there a special matchup, homecoming or senior night coming up; contact Sheffield Productions? 14 years experience on broadcasting High School football . . .
  14. Would Silsbee really like another game televised? Sheffield Productions has two open Fridays. Please contact them if Silsbee is interested in another telecast.
  15. Kelly @ Silsbee to be broadcast Wed night, Oct 1, 7:00PM on Time Warner channel 18. Sheffield Productions and crew will in position Friday night with all 4 cameras, replays and full staff for a fine game at a beautiful facility. Good luck to both the home Tigers and visiting Bulldogs . . . see'ya on TV !
  16. [is wed. night the only time it will be broadcast? One viewing on 18 and then it rolls over to digital channel 1 (VOD) which is free - but only available to Time Warner digital subscribers. Originally it was to stay on VOD for 30 days, but Time Warner has said it might be a shorter time frame.
  17. Watch the game Wed night on Time Warner 18 at 7:00PM and be the judge on whether the game came down to one call or how the referees ruled on all those flags thrown. Regardless of what happened; it was a fine effort by the BC Cardinals in the 3rd and 4th to get back in the game. Check out all the replays, color shots and closeups of both teams, including full halftime performances. Like the announcer said, " the only 4 - camera production team doing High School sports between Baton Rouge and Houston".
  18. In 2000, Sheffield Productions, taped for KOGT and broadcast games involving Bridge City, Orangefield, LC-M and WOS. Working with KOGT's owner Gary Stelly, Sheffield Productions taped a full season of teams that hadn't been on local cable before. The only restriction that season was the weekly reliability of Time Warner Channel 4. WOS Mustangs were followed and taped well into the state playoffs; all under the banner of KOGT. Same video production team taping this year with 8 more years of games under their belt - incorporating better cameras, smoother replay equipment and a solid video signal in channel 18 broadcasting over SE Texas. After that season KOGT and Sheffield Productions continued to work together in taping and presenting on cable the annual Orange Christmas Parade and Mardi Gras. Hats off to Gary for introducing the crew to 'Stang pride, Orange county sports and the excitement of participating in and taping parades in the Orange community.
  19. Sheffield Productions will tape the Bridge City/Kountze game. Airtime will be 7:00PM Wed night on Time Warner channel 18. Watch the game and watch us grow - the only 4 camera, multi-replay production crew, between Houston and Baton Rouge, broadcasting high school games.
  20. Ok, you asked for them. Thanks to the webmaster, the photos from Bulldog relays were posted the same night. everyone enjoy, later, videoguy
