Personally i dont think you have a clue of what is actually happening, and your fall back is to just blame dubois.

Yeah as i said it is commonplace, but i dont know if he has the POWER TO DO THAT OR IF IT HAS TO BE SCHOOLBOARD APPROVED. Im defending dubois to an extent because not everything is the fault of one person. You cannot blame dubois for kids quitting because they only want to play for jeff mathews and nobody else. You cannot fault dubois for players getting caught with vapes, failing drug tests, etc. You cannot fault dubois for us just not having enough athletes to make any system work after the quitting, and suspension. But hey yeah its ALLLLLLL the coaches fault 🤡 At what point are you going to realize that this group is just not very good, but if you think you can do better by all means go talk to him. His office is always open.

Im not sure tbh, ik we were shorthanded on coaches. But i cannot fault a man for wanting to coach with his son. I would do the same thing in his position, i would want to coach with my son too And i agree, a HC/AD should have full control of who he can hire and fire, but idk how contract situation works at vidor, i dont think its public information to look up either.. idk if dubois has that power or not, it may have to go through the schoolboard, but again i have no clue.. it would make sense to let ur AD decide on coaching decisions Just from my experience i dont think ive ever heard of vidor firing a coach, its always been “let the contract expire and not offer a new one” type thing, but im not part of any of that process, thats just based on rumor ive heard through the rumor mill Though.. idek if its close to the truth

Dubois retaining the DC is an issue i think. Now idk how coordinator contracts work though, not sure if its a one year contract that gets renewed yearly or a multi year contract

Well. One hire that did not come with him from a previous stop. I believe Smith, and Caleb came with him from previous stop.

Dubois did not hire fletcher. Fletcher was there while mathews was there. So that argument is invalid. Dubois has made 1 hire since he has been there as far as i know. The issue with vidor is the same as it always is. We do not fire coaches for poor performance. The other dubois is his son.

Soooo offense outside of turnovers is averaging like 6 yards a play… defense gives up 60… but is it still dubois’s fault? Even tho hes running the offense? Dont understand the Dubois hate with this stuff.

Defense is absolutely horrible. Think vidor defense is giving up over 40 points per game. Will never win games that way. 2 Fumbles, but vidor O looks much better. Breaking off runs constantly. maybe huffman D is suspect against the run?

Hard to be an effective playcaller with no line however dubois needs to find a way to get buy in from everyone, but that conversation aside on to football, i think tn will be a different product than what was seen against BC. Vidor keeps it close, and potentially plays spoiler

Still hold firm belief that we are severely limited by line play this year, the line has struggled mightily in every game this year to open consistent run lanes

Huffman seems like the team to beat.. that one is going to be a heavyweight matchup, but i think BC matches well with huffman. Think BC wins this district undefeated and can hopefully steal a win in the playoffs 💪🏻

Been the story of the year😂 Subpar oline play and angry fans thinking that we can run the spread… when we cant even runblock properly BUT GIVE ME BC BY 28+ friday. Guess we will see🤷🏻‍♂️ Me personally i have not heard anyone grumbling about wanting to move schools, ive heard the opposite that this group wants to stick together and be a change in vidor football. Only thing we can do is just see what happens.

Yeah the freshman are fun to watch. Sucks i cant make it tomorrow /: I figure most of them will be starting on varsity next year. No offense meant to anyone but i still believe dubois is handicapped by personnel this year. I just dont think the horses are there which is limiting his playcalling.. I do think he could do better at inspiring, and getting participation but thats yet to be seen in my opinion He is at all the freshman games so he knows whats going on with the group. Ill hold my wanting to change coaches until the end of next year.. See what kind of product he is able to field with one of the most talented groups to come through vidor in a while.. Whatever happens happens this year, its been said by quite a few people that this year we were going to be down, so i do not think the fault lies with just dubois. Think its just a perfect storm of being down, Jeff leaving, and dubois trying to learn how to get his kids to play hard, and increase participation. Just be patient, see what happens over the next year or two and see if the results are different because i really think there is a plan in place for this group to be the change that alot of people want. So let us vidor fans be patient and see what happens with them.

Yes i do. Because like i said, ive heard it from players who said they will only play for jeff, nobody else. Which in my opinion is quite stupid that u wont even consider giving the new coach a chance, but when ur dealing with kids thats the reality in some situations
