Nah don’t back pedal now…tell us about how NS only win because they gotta bunch of players they recruit lol not one power 5 player on the roster and still won a state title! I need your expertise on how they were able to pull this off lol

My lord they are loaded, hard to believe watching those kids they’re actually 8th graders.

Where all the haters who said NS recruits & they’re only good because they have a bunch of talent blah blah blah. Where Soulja at? Been telling yall for years is coached up on the Eastside & it starts with the feeder programs. Keep in mind NS just won state without its best player, whom was a national recruit committed to Georgia.

For all the people that hate on NS & think they only win cause of talent, well this is one of the least talented teams in 30+ years at Da Sho and they still made it to the state championship game!

Soulja what the hell are you talking about? My whole point is this NS team talent wise is probably the worst since Aymond took over & they still rolled through Region 3. Which says more about the quality of football in the Houston than it does NS. So yes it would be different than other years because this team isn’t nowhere near as talented as the NS teams you’re speaking of. A coach on the staff told me earlier in the year that they’re playing with a bunch on kids on varsity that would’ve been on the Sophomore team & JV in a normal year.

What am I reaching about & what teams did I discredit? Please let me know…point was a bad NS team still running through region 3 shows how Houston area football is going downhill…this NS team wouldn’t make it out the second round in the DFW area

Ok this makes a lot more sense…but this tourney has went down hill since I was in school.

What the hell does this have to do with Houston?

Houston area football is becoming so bad because of the demographics & the amount of schools being built. This NS team is bad & literally dominated region 3 still…crazy lol

You keep bringing up this week as if this is the only these teams can play in a tourney we all know the real smoke is up 45 North, plenty of competitive tourneys up that way. There is a reason good teams don’t come to the YMBL no more… To your last statement is there a rule saying BISD teams have to participate in the tourney they host? Honestly curious

This isn’t a bad tourney to be in for two state championship caliber programs? What competitive teams are in this tourney besides the two obvious? Go look at the tournaments other state championship caliber programs participate in and tell me if they resemble the YMBL?

Yes that’s who I’m referring to & it’s still a pointless tourney to play in. Literally set up for them to play each other rest of the tourney is terrible competition. Pointless imo

Question: Why does the elite 409 bball programs play in this terrible tourney? It’s plenty of other great/competitive tourney’s that they can play in to get their teams better.

Builds confidence, helps the culture of the program etc. Now tell me how does playing a team you’re going to get blew out by help a brand new staff and a school that historically is used to losing?

BU has no business playing the likes of PNG…games like this is a confidence killer for a historically bad BU. I’m sure my boy Dre will make sure he schedules accordingly in the offseason
