1. Denton Guyer (6A)- Coach Jones said this one was locked in.

Man, y’all have set the bar as far as championship programs. Y’all would be good in 6A too. A well oiled machine in Aledo where you can plug kids in and continue winning.

Do y’all know if they are clearing the stands after each game like they used to? Because they didn’t do that last year and the fans for the next game were screwed trying to find seats….

Y'all know I went to Alabama. At Alabama, there's immense social pressure to never rush the field or go overboard in response to a win. The crowds will get very involved at key moments in the game, but after the win, it's three rounds of "Rammer Jammer" and then we exit the stadium in an efficient and orderly fashion.

The general response an Alabama fan will give you if you ask about it is something along the lines of, we don't get overly excited about any one win because we always expect to win. Perfection, competing for a championship perennially and consistent, disciplined execution are the norm there. Whether it's an out-of-conference game or a national championship, winning is our business. We act like we've been there before because we have been there before, we're there now and we know we'll be back there again a bunch more in the future.

It's nice to see that culture shift take hold at PN-G.

PNG could become the Southeast Texas version of Katy. I see y’all going to state a lot more in the future. Administration did a good job hiring Coach Joseph. 

Congratulations PNG! I will be at the game cheering you guys on again. Beat SOC! 

PNG should win this one again and have a rematch with SOC. It’s kind of hard to beat good teams like PNG being one dimensional with a run heavy team like LH. 

They will most likely be back in the title game against PNG. 

Congrats PNG. Hopefully y’all win the next game and make it back to state. Winning it all this time.

I think this time around will be closer than the regular season. But CH isn’t quite ready yet. Coaches first year with a young team.

PAM should schedule four tough opponents. Hell they may lose all four but it would help them for district and the playoffs. That’s what SOC does….

Coaching, young team, qb play, and historically bad run defense in the playoffs. They need to get a coach (o coordinator, d coordinator, lineman coach) that comes from a winning program. But how do you get someone to wanna come to Paisd? With the right coaching staff, off-season program, and community support PAM should be able to compete year in and out with the best of them. 

Thought about going to the game… l think l’ll just go to work tonight instead. Good luck PAM! 

I’m really hoping PAM can pull it off. It is not going to be easy though…especially how they’ve been playing recently.

Yes sir…l believe he maybe a junior. They both losing a lot of seniors after this season. 

I was at the game but got in a little late because of the long lines. Moore had to miss the first half because he was ejected last game is what l was told. Desoto last beat Duncanville in 2016 so they were fired up and jumped on Duncanville fast. Duncanville Cb #15 got beat twice for a td by Desoto Wr #13. Duncanville also lost two fumbles by their receivers #9 and #13. Desoto got a real good fake to convert on 4th down which was huge. Desoto just played better today and did a good job in the trenches. Oh and #13 for Desoto took a kick return to the house.
