  1. he did. he got done over by UIL what's crazy is in that season of 2004 we beat Diboll 13-0 in first round of playoffs. they had a receiver that we couldn't stop bit the Qb was awful. That receivers name? Jeremichael Finley.
  2. it was 29-28. our qb Gilbert Moye fumbled the ball on last play of game as he was crossing goal line. Guess what? we went to State that year.
  3. BTW, Jasper fans can buy tickets online or at the gate.
  4. guess its an excuse who leads the series as well. anywho........
  5. very good choice. especially the academics alot of folks fail to realize or remember the caliber/quality school Rice is.
  6. For outsiders who are not aware during the time span mentioned there has been the infamous " cheap shot: on our starting qb in a game we were winning til that point, a game that is known as 20>14 , a couple of seasons we didn't play actually 3, and of course last year's bounce pass(and yes I am talking football not basketball when I say bounce pass) so.......anywho.
  7. yes, we heard you the first time about 3 times ago. 🙃
  8. What a combo Tiger Williams #12 and Randy Spikes #5 were!!. Talk about out of position til his Senior season Randy Spikes only played RB that one year. I don't care who we played if he got one step on someone he wasn't going to be caught. Wr were literally the smallest enrollment in 4ADI that year and lost to one of the largest schools in DI Henderson in the 3rd round because of so well executed 2 onside kicks we recovered the Lions coach cried that they we had to be offsides. 60-43 was the final. I have often wondered how amazing it would have the two previous season had they put Randy in backfield with #36 Tiki Cuney. Talk about Thunder & Lighting!
  9. Karrion was a mean lean bowling ball when he played for the DAWGS. played running back one year on varsity then I personally think had him out of position playing QB the other. He holds the Jasper single season rushing record and is second on the single game rushing record behind only Montavien Hunt's 360 he hung on the Blue&Silver.
  10. it's hard to believe that no we don't. (not that I can think of for sure not any contributors) . not very often that happens.
  11. I think it's over few days now, but I used to like it alot when they did all the state games in one day at the SuperDome. Started with low classification at like 8 or 9 am til when ever.
  12. about what seed are yall looking at for playoffs?
  13. Wolverines with a good bounce back from the start of the season uh?
  14. nope. I do remember the qb setting the wide out up for failure across the middle. quit telling BS nobody was speared. if that the case it happened in front of the whole world, yet not one flag. Surely if somebody was doing Hacksaw Jim Duggan at least one official would have called it. anywho........
  15. no. personally I miss him alot not being there.
  16. [Hidden Content] yeah no reason to get upset about this. only caused a concussion. with the more we learn about how dangerous they are.
  17. let's hope it pays off for Jasper. we were for sure battled tested in pre season and for the most part in District play so far
  18. 2 games away from state who doesn't expect to get tested in round 4. The vast majority of teams would love to just make it to round 4.
  19. simply put WOS got extra play when they shouldn't have. (oh! and they still lost after leading by 17 with less than a half to play) ps. breaking huddle with 12 players is a penalty that would stop clock. lol, another miss by Chad and the boys on the extra play.
  20. thought you were done. we already we went over this the other day. all you did was support what I am saying because holding is not a penalty that stops the clock(supposed to be) but those officials did otherwise it was correctly going to run out because of the running play tackled in bounds. like he said what should have vs what did happen. it's already been established thar what happened is wrong.
  21. Just an opinion from an outsider whose opinion or thoughts don't matter. really more curiosity than anything else. I haven't read any of this thread and being totally honest don't know yall record this season, but goodness it seems like I see more and more of these type scores for the Broncos. if I am correct last season was OK but it's been bout ten years or so prior to last year that the Broncos were the type of program they were mid to late 90s to 2010s. not really a powerhouse but a winning program that was guaranteed to be a tough challenge for who ever the opponent is/was. what has caused the downward spiral. people moving away?, kids transferring?, or what? the talent pool just hit rock bottom? I dont mean for this to be taken as negative or taking a shot a Dayton. it's just a football fan being curious.
  22. LOL!The silence is deafening in here now.The moment it was verified that I was right it went from the most popular to the most quiet. GO DAWGS GO!!
