1st off, thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers, my son was up and walking around today. Dr said he will come home Monday and a slight chance by the weekend... Might even be ready to play by district... Now, where is the "Hawk Nation" you ask????? They are here..... Watching and waiting..... Big BIG year for the HAWKS!!!! West Orange who? Who is Jasper? Dude, we fitna light this board up....... In due time..... We are letting all you professional "predictors" have your little fun.....  Then it will be game time..... Im letting you know now, we will take no prisoners..... We're gonna kill'em all, and let the LORD sort'em out.... The Hawk "D" is gonna be stingy..... Got a good report today. Dr. said he is stable and the antibiotics are working. May be able to bring him home as early as Friday.... He actually got up and walked down the hallway this morning with his dear ol dad... Thank you all for the well wishes, he is not out of the woods yet but two days of good reports after 5 days of bad news is awesome...

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. He actually had another surgery Friday night to remove the mesh. They are leaving the wound completely open to heal from the inside out. When they pull the gause out to change it, they have to give him morphine because the pain is so severe... That happens 2 times per day. Dr. checked him today and they are going to have to go back in tonignt to clean the would because the infection is still present. He is having a rough go of it, and they are saying he will be there at least till next weekend... Thanks again for the prayers, he needs them...

Hey Fran, he was doing fine until yesterday. Running fever and had to take him back to the hospital. He has an infection. They admitted him and are running iv antibiotics through him for the next 3 days. If it doesnt clear up, they will have to go back in and take the mesh out, let it heal completely, then go back and put in another type of mesh... Sucks... He wants to be with his team and its hard on him. Coach Dubois brought about 5 or 6 of his teamates out to see him last night... Pretty awesome guy.. In other news, the Hawk defense looks so good this year, its friggin insane!!!

Because we have a FOOTBALL COACH that we have not had in the last 10 years..... Because we have a group of kids that we have not had in the last 10 years.... Because we actually have been on an off season workout schedule we have not had in the last 10 years.... Because we have a plan that we havent had in the last 10 years... I am not so stupid as to be 100% sure we will win but I am 100% sure we CAN win..... I am 100% sure we will not be a pushover like years past... All the same people on here said the same thing about Silsbee last year and were wrong.... Not one person picked it right... I was the closest..... I was off by 1 point..... You guys were off by 50.....
