I don't remember an old player from HJ..... I didn't follow until my sons freshmen year because I wasn't going to waste a Friday night watching a bunch of undisciplined, unmotivated, and lazy kids get the crap beat out of'em every week.... Not the kids fault.. Here is my argument..... If we had an older kid play, it must have not made a difference.... We were being bad mouthed on here so bad, most of you guys called for a slaughter last year and barely won because of a very athletic play made by an adult.... It was permitted by the UIL, but it was also the difference between and HJ win and an HJ loss... Did our "older" kid become the dfference in the win/loss column? Also, if you read through this thread, you always give us your opinion on whatever it is we are talking about, off topic, and then tell us to stay on topic or you will lock the thread..... How bout them Bears!!!!!! Sic'em!!!!!!

I will say that Kountze #1 is one of the best I've seen in a long. LONG time... He has the ability to be full speed, stop on a dime, and be full speed the next step (or at least the illusion to do so)... That is something only a World Class Athlete can do... I will say, Kountze came to play and gave us all we wanted... Good luck on the rest of your season Kountze, great game.....

This is all very entertaining..... HJ is on the level of Kirbyville????? That's funny right there, I don't care who you are..... Fact of the matter is, the Kountze community, as a whole, doesn't care about the football program.... We were in that rut for a good while... You need a coach in there that has no ties to the community, with a plan, and some passion for the game.... I don't know Joubert or how he is doing right now so he may be the guy....We were blessed last year when our board decided to hire a "football" guy.... Our kids are grateful...I can promise you this, Kountze has the athletes to have a top-notch football program... And its not their fault... Hey Kountze fans, does this sound familiar? Parents in the stands yelling at the coaches on the field, parents in the stands yelling at each other, kids not respecting authority, negativity in the locker room, negativity in the halls, negativity on the sideline, negativity in the stands,  and negativity in the stores and businesses.... We were there..... Stand up and make some noise....... Find out where your board members are when it comes to athletics.... Call them out at a board meeting... Email each one....Find out what they are thinking and then rally together.... Each meeting, fill the boardroom with "pissed off" football parents....I don't know if it helped us, but I do know when the time came to hire a new coach, we got the best one....Arguing amongst each other, only feeds the fire that will burn your program to the ground... HJ Defense is tough!!!. Offense was a little rough, but they mottled through it.. Kelly actually had some size on the line. A lot of our offense was 2nd and 3rd stringers playing on the line as early as the 1st quarter... Coach Dubois got everyone involved in this win... Kelly fought and never gave up.. Was not as easy as the it looked. HJ defense created some good field position...

FYI and I mean for EVERYONE, there is not one transfer on our varsity football team that does not live in the district.... Every kid on our varsity team lives inside the HJISD. We have a great crop of athletes and a hell of a coach... Call it what you want, but all I can say is  last year "I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!" Don't deny it, and don't try to skip by it..... I told ya'll last year this group of seniors is the largest group of boys to ever come through HJISD. And guess what....... The next biggest class is this years freshman class.... The same ones that went undefeated as 8th graders last year... Why yes, they did beat Silsbee and WOS last year....Uh-oh....... Somebody is building a Dynasty...... Mark your calendars...October 31, 2014 at Hawk Stadium, my master prediction will come to light like a freight train in the night.... Get your baby wipes out boys, its gonna get messy.... In the words of Rick Flair....... WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
