It's not that beneficial to go to a 9 week grading period. You HAVE to do grades at the 6 week mark and then again at 9 week. YOU CAN LOSE KIDS TWICE IN THE FIRST 9 weeks.
If they are eligible at the 9 week mark, they are eligible for the next 9 weeks.

It was Westbury.
Houston Sterling played Lamarque very close.

Many from SETX will remember Devante Mays, RB from Livingston.
He is at Utah State and getting lots of attention.
-
Any news from this one

If they move Livingston back to 5A, which district will they go?
to Beaumont and make a 9
to Huntsville, Willis, Brenham, Magnolia, Tomball, Waller and make a 9
new caney, kingwood, splendora, Dayton, mont belvieu, humble, Crosby which they are geographically closer.
Keep 20 and 22 at 8 ( even number ) and make 21 a 10 ( even number ). This also affects fewer overall teams.

Is the BH hire from the metroplex area?

Look for Woodville to make a lot of noise this year.
2 outstanding groups coming (2015 juniors and freshmen)
Buna lost 90% of the varsity to graduation.
Kirbyville and East Chambers were Junior Based teams that did really good.
Kountze still has Arnold.
Gonna be interesting.

Couple of things here...
Did the kids fill out the NCAA eligibility center form?
If not, a college cannot recruit you.
Do they have a qualifying SAT or ACT score, if not they cannot bring you in for an official visit.
Without those two things, (which is the responsibility of the students and parents) a coach can't do much to help the student in recruiting.
Was there a highlight video made. with HUDL, hundreds of video can be sent out in a matter of minutes.

When an athlete moves schools, the incoming school must initiate the PAPF form.
see link
http://www.uiltexas.org/files/athletics/forms/papf.pdf
The family and incoming school completes page 1.
If the student competed in any sports grades 9-12 and the previous school, then the previous school must fill out page 2.
