I understand after watching alot of basketball lastyear. I know of the 2 kids from Beaumont United that went there and I would say they may not have played if they stayed at BU in front of last year's Freshman duo not to mention BU was stacked.

I agree and it does seem like someone or someone's are working behind a closed door for the betterment of there school or Alma mater. If all the facts are as stated hopefully UIL can see thru the burning door if an appeal has been filed. I say again I feel bad for the kid whom I recently seen some video footage of playing ball. The kid can hoop.

If he is or isn't a residence of Cheeks then all they can do is appeal to UIL and hope for the best. I hate it for the kid tho. Never been in the situation with my daughter but I do know UIL doesnt like stepping on the toes of DEC. There in a place where you scratch my back and I'll have yours.

Someone said told me he actually resides in B.I.S D district and could possibly attend West Brook cause that would be his zoned school. The parents chose HF because it had an open enrollment. Would it be possible for him to attend there(West Brook) and be eligible?

For what reason?...Thought he was from a private school in PA somewhere and lived in Cheeks somewhere?

From what I was told hes done for the season...Having issues with his body from an old injury that only rest heels.

They still have them preseason #2 so they may have something bubbling in the pot for Halloween....Trick or Treat...

Heard Kountze may be having there program...they may allow a few teams in and if Nationals come up then you may have to take those kids to whichever side allows due ti them not being resident. Also heard Midcounty may be running there program. Not sure on either tho. Just what I heard.

He also Coached Daniel Ewing and Kelly Oubre also...Daniel and TJ were a backcourt nightmare for opponents.

For the State I like Allen's gym and Duncanville has a nice setup with 1 main court and 4 sub courts

This Fairfield group is good and will be for while. Been watching that group since Lil dribblers and they played hard and competed against any and everyone.

It happens...get over it...I remember maybe 5 or 6 years ago a kid who didnt live on the west side of I-10 couldn't play football for the Beaumont Bulldogs when the kids on the Northside didnt have a team in that league. Eventually a program put a team on that side of I -10 in STJFL. If a parent wants better for there kid then you do what you have to do. I could see if the kid moved his Sr year and that was the missing piece but this kid has went there for 4 years and hes been doing all this since middle school and the parents didnt want him facing the problems of his older brother that was seeming to find them in strange circumstances. Teachers move for better and Coaches also but no one complains about it. Let them go where they want. When people realize that there child isn't competing against the kid across town for a scholarship but the kid across the U.S for 1 then they would be better understanding of putting in more work to help there child achieve his or her goals. This sounds like it could be a bitter relative of a teammate speaking for the parent about there nephew....Carry On...

Heard a kid transferred from United to Orange to live with relatives do to Hurricane doing damage to home. May push them from 3 to 2 if it's TRUE and hes eligible to play.

Let the kids go where they want and if your serious about your kid playing at the next level then hopefully hes not a senior and find the right summer team to try and get on cause he will get more looks that way unless your Highschool makes a run in the playoffs or has a kid on the team being recognized by college coaches and he plays well while there watching.
