Facts are stubborn things. A landslide isn’t 60%. I was incorrect. It is generally considered a landslide when the victory is by 15 points or more. It doesn’t matter what anyone predicts. A 2 point win is not even close to a landslide or mandate. I told you about checks and balances because your post demonstrated a misunderstanding of the separation of powers. You really need to work on your factual arguing skills.
-
You are funny as all get out. A landslide is considered an election where the winner receives over 60% of the popular vote. Weasel got 49.7, not even a majority. To call it a landslide is laughable, to put it mildly. As for the courts, we have three equal branches. Checks and balances, you know? An injunction is not a final ruling. Man, you are digging deep and still coming up empty.

The BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL - PASSED THE HOUSE

That raises an interesting point. We must remember that opposition or favor of any government program depends on whose ox is being gored. I like Social Security and Medicare. I can see where a 30 year old might not. Start talking about reducing or eliminating those benefits and my ox is being gored. Talk about a bloated defense budget and Boeing’s et. al. oxes are being gored. Government is big, bloated, and unnecessary - until it isn’t. -

Billing is not the patient’s responsibility. Able bodied adults can too easily get welfare and TANF plus child tax credits. Proving disability to qualify for Medicaid is quite a different matter. Not nearly as easy. -

I certainly do. Did you read the piece? So, you think the patients fake sick so they can collect money that passes between the program and the provider? Do you really believe that? Or is it that the poor and elderly fake their income or age to get free insurance? Do you really believe that? -

I know AAW, and he doesn’t get offended without good reason. Look inside yourself instead of spewing all over me and BG to hide your embarrassment. -

Yes, and the right wing clowns blame the poor, the minorities, and illegals. Remember the “welfare Cadillac”? Ronald Raga** started the wedge driving way back yonder in ‘80. -

Where is the abuse? Ineligible users? Medicaid, like Medicare, sets prices. Bills and payments pass between the program and providers. The fraud is perpetrated by providers, not the insureds. Given the Weasel’s record of letting business off the hook, don’t look for much fraud reduction. The reductions will come at the expense of the poor and disabled. Trump don’t care. [Hidden Content] -

Talk about a pot calling the kettle black. Look at your post, man. You dismissed the 14 year old bed bound because of child labor laws, not his disability. Follow your cheap shot logically, and a 30 disabled person not bound by child labor laws should work. Build a better argument if you don’t like getting called out. -
We didn’t trash the Capitol. Why won’t the Weasel pardon liberal criminals?
-
Pro Palestinian rights = antisemitism? How predictable! I thought the Hitler card was frowned upon in here. I got a reprimand for using it. Of course, I was referring to the Weasel, not liberals. But since you brought it up, he also banned and burned books and dealt brutally with anyone with thoughts or opinions opposing the Reich. Weasel ain’t got brutal yet, but he’s working overtime trying to curb freedom of expression.

Not that big a leap when they already seem to take glee in separating them from their parents. -
Because the Constitution says.

Ranked choice voting could threaten the two party system. I think it’s great and I wish Texas would adopt it. This “binary” choice system is bs. It’s not even binary. We’re just voting for one or the other side of the same coin.
-
TRUMP IS TELLING WAL MART THEY BETTER CONTROL THEIR PRICES. That’s your party talking, bud. You didn’t dodge the $16 billion and counting tax increase my party is always attacked for. Tariff=Tax
-
Who do you think paid that 16 billion? Basically a sales tax. The Weasel just told Wal Mart it better eat the tariffs. Telling them how to price their products. That’s a very conservative position (NOT). What’s next from you market conservatives? Price controls?
-
That is an asinine metaphor. If the criminal were an illegal alien, the baby born would be a citizen of the country, not a member of my household. Shun the immigrant at your own peril. “Depart, I never knew you”, He will say.
-
Nope. Neither a tank in every driveway. “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free States, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” Where are the “well regulated militias”?
-
My point exactly. Though you can’t know what they would have included. I’ll need to check my history and see if they thought citizen artillery ownership was cool.
-
1( Constitution says it is. I support the Constitution, so yes. 2( No 3(The current law has needed changing for decades. Congress doesn’t have the fortitude. Child and mother should not be separated.
-
It doesn’t matter what Congress in 1866 thought about the future. Did the framers envision AR 15s on every corner when they included the right to bear arms for the purpose of a well formed militia? About the only redress would be another Amendment.
-
What do the founding fathers have to do with the 14th amendment? They were all dead when it passed. The Constitution is what they call a living document. Changes with the times. Had slavery not been abolished, the amendment would not have happened. That first sentence of section one is hard to get around. The only opinion that matters is one written by the Supreme Court.
