The Pats are beatable. But I can't see my Houston Browns doing it. I just hope the Houston D gives Tom Brady a really bad day.

Roll Tide and Boomer Sooner!
In the end, it is the Crimson Tide, and the T-shirt fan gets a new NC T-shirt!

Hated to see the Texans lose this one. While Buffalo is a tough road game, it's hard for me to respect Rex Ryan. If it weren't for his Dad, he'd be working at the ladies dept. at Boot Barn. Next week will be tough, but they will be at home. I'm still pulling for them, but know realistically, they are still the Houston Browns...

Playing catch up on the board tonight. Watching the Steelers-Colts game and can't take any more of the Collinsworth jabber. Besides, y'all are a lot more interesting!
Here's my take on the coaching hires...
First of all LSU remarkably made the right choice keeping Miles. I hope they support him enough to get some more help. Georgia fired a great coach, but got a interesting hire. I'm a Kirby Smart fan, but it remains to be seen what he can do as a HC. He is one of their own, so I'm betting on him to bring success. Saying that, Miami got a great hire in Richt. I'm hoping he turns around the U. The Muschamp hire makes no sense. If he failed at Florida, how can anyone expect him to succeed at SC? The biggest surprise to me is Tom Herman. His name has been linked to every opening, yet he signs an extension at Houston. I do like that though. Great for UH! Lastly, I hope coach Strong recruits well and kicks some butt next year. It's time to bring some pride back to Texas!

They are still the Houston Browns....
And the Dallas Browns!
Hearing a little life from the Dallas folk. They are again one sack away from being in as bad a QB situation as Houston. Neither team can run the ball. Houston's defense showing a little life. I'm glad there is still football on Saturdays!

Bs wildcat, shovel, bg. The Texans will upset the Bengals. And fight there way into the playoffs.
.. luck Season could be done.
..It was nice to see kubiak still can't win in Lucas oil.(gotta be around 0-10)
... will we finally win in Lucas oil.(0-12)
...How long before bg realize Exans 7-9 (Means playoffs ).
Great call! You da man!

Pafam, I kinda hope you are right... My only reservation here is because I have a bunch of Bengals on a Draft Kings ticket. I'll forfeit my $3 for the Texans to knock off one of the undefeated! Plus, the Cowboy fans silence will be deafening!
I blame Kubiak for Peyton Mannings downfall. I know he's getting older and beat up, but this year is uncharacteristic even for Manning.
Give us some gloat in the morning!

Pretty good matchups.
#25 Memphis at #16 Houston
#3 Alabama at #20 Miss State
#12 Oklahoma at #4 Baylor
Arkansas at #2 LSU
All these could go either way. I think I like Baylor over OU, but wouldn't bet on it.

Pinkel needs to go too.
Why? Pinkel stood with his players, not that he really had any other choice...

Brown had some good plays on special teams early in the season. Due to work schedules, I haven't kept up as much lately. I do hope he keeps his head on straight and stays at Bama.
-
Anyone else getting tired of musberger?
I tire of Musberger, but will trade Gary & Verne for him right now!
-
Christmas came early! Much to my surprise, Bama shutdown Fournette and stole his shot at the Heisman. Maybe gives Henry the chance at the trophy. The Longhorns won big and Arkansas used all their luck to beat Ole Mess. Woo Pig Sooie! The poor old Aggies faltered, but you can't have everything. Great day for college football. Looking forward to the committee ranking in a few days.
Roll Tide!

Well...at least you know what you have with Hoyer. Houston's biggest problemme right now isn't the QB.
-
Anybody think Dalvin Cook from FSU is on his level?
Nope. I like Cook, but Fournette is the best in college football right now. I'd even put Chubb and maybe Henry before Cook.

Cleveland may be the worst franchise in sports. Feel sorry for Duke Johnson. Guy is dynamic when he touches it and they can't seem to figure out how to get a RB the ball. Good thing the folks there have the Cavs.
Right hoops... Both Johnson and Crowell are beasts! JFF hasn't matured at all. If his primary receiver isn't open, he takes off running. He'll get killed like that in the NFL. Saying that, he still might be a better QB than what is starting in Houston or Dallas right now.

The SEC hate in here is strong!
Y'all are discounting Ole Miss, but they are for real. Robert Nkemdiche is a young J.J. Watt. He got a concussion again Memphis, another team that is for real. LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss play each other and a lot more brutal schedule than ANY BIG 10, Pac-12, ACC or especially Big12 teams. While the selection committee posted their picks this week, they all knew it would change because of the Bama-LSU matchup. If FSU beats Clemson (which I doubt will happen) you will probably see a Big 12 school in the mix then. Of course, they love Notre Dame, so maybe not...
-
The remaining Houston Browns schedule is brutal. There won't be many happy endings. The Houston Browns will have slightly better draft picks than the Dallas Browns.
-
#4 LSU vs #7 Bama... everything else is background noise.
-
man what a time to be alive! Lol
I was wrong again Mr Buddy Garrity! At least this time it didn't cost me a burger... Fitz has been a LOT better than Mallet. Mallet migt have agreat arm and talent, but he has mush for brains! Houston had no choice but to cut him, even without good viable options for a replacement. You are also right that the Houston team does not deserve to be called Texans. Until they right the ship, they are the Houston Browns. Don't get excited Dallas fans, your team is the Browns too. It sucks to be a football fan in Texas right now.

My memory is shot, but didn't Murray Sr have an ankle injury? I was thinking that's why he left for the NFL, but my rear view mirror is kinda cloudy. I expect Murray to win this 3 day QB competition and start on Saturday. I still can't believe Sumlin let Allen self destruct for so long. Curious to see what happens.

Wow... I can't belive that adults are arguing in this forum about private property... The sign thing was a classless, childish thing to do. I believe in Coach Faircloth and am in his corner. Ashley, I do agree with your opinion here, but please be reconsider doing opinion pieces on sports. I despise Bob Costas for his op-ed halftime bull manure. My .02.

A caller on XM College Sports was talking Rich Rodriguez for the Miami job, but I don't see it. Butch Davis has to be the favorite here. A lot of folks clamoring for Kirby Smart for the S. Carolina job. No ideas for the West Coast SC... Leach's idea of a defense is more offense. I don't see him as a fit for any if these jobs.

If I had a vote it would be Henry. If I were to bet it would be Watson. Easy to make a case for any of these guys.
