without a threat at the qb position you become very predictable at nederland this year.wild dog will only get you so far.but thats been on and off for a couple of years now. those that doubt dionte at qb lets hear from you now.without him we dont make the playoffs for last 2 years .hated that they left him in long enough to get hurt after dominating last weeks game.good luck to all the seniors and maybe next year will be better .i look to dump the spread next year for sure .
I agree
2. Didn't mean to take any credit away from Coach Flanigan, because the Coogs did what they needed to do.  Good luck to Dominic and we wish him well at TCU.  It's kind of cool that Trev and Dom will be attending the same school next year.  It seemed like there were so many missed opportunities for the dawgs.  Every play called on offense was so predictable.  You would think there would be a better game plan.  Yet the coogs kept the dawgs off balance the whole night and were fortunate they didn't turn the ball over more.  Maybe next year there won't be so many distractions for the dawgs.  The coach probably needs a course in diversity and building cohesion instead of being so divisive.  That probably hurt the team more in the end than his coaching.  Good luck next year.  :)
3. Typical Nederland, squeaked in the playoffs and blew their opportunity getting out coached from a school with a whole lot less.  I guess the next thing we'll hear is it was the bands fault.  Come on Nederland band geeks, speak up I'm sure we'll hear from you with a thrillling 15 page thread on the band.  Nederland deserves much more than what we saw last night.

5. Ok I'll make my case for Lumberton's QB, Hughes  1) He didn't throw the number of passes Doty, Gonzales or Green did and consequently doesn't have the statistics they have.  That's the Lumberton offense and there's nothing he could do about that  2) He doesn't have the offensive line and the protection the others have and his statistics were obtained while running for his life.  3) He lost all of his starting receivers from last year. 4) Lumberton is the smallest team in the district.  With those negatives, he's been a very accurate passer even though his receivers dropped a lot of passes.  His passing yards are good considering the low number of attempts.  He has a strong arm and can throw the ball deep with accuracy and touch.  He's a very strong runner.  He stays in the pocket well and has taken many hits after delivering completed passes.  He's proven he can take a hit.  He's a smart QB that all the players respect.  He does everything the coaches wanted him to do.  He was the newcomer of the year in 2008 and 1st Team All District with Doty in 2009.  He gained arm strength and speed from last year and is one of Lumberton's best QBs ever.  You can't ignore the statistics, but you have to consider the whole picture.  That's exactly how the colleges are evaluating him.
6. Hughes the beast, unfortunately got hit way too many times
7. Good game Jags and good luck in the playoffs.  I'm sure you will represent us well.  I'm proud of the Raiders, you played a great game.  Couldn't quite hold on to those Jaguar tails.
8. JJ will have his pick of colleges in Texas if he wants to stay close to home.
9. I haven't seen AB at the Lamar games and was wondering if someone could give me an update on his status?

11.
if lcm gose up 2 tds lumberton will fold trust me check out the histry!!!!
The history?  Ask Jasper about their 14-0 lead with L-town.
12. I agree with Nazerath, the L-Town defense will be the best LCM has faced and will create turnovers.  35-14 L-Town
13. Maybe one of the best games of the year.
14.
I’ve noticed more and more over the years that people who criticize coaches for their calls or ESPECIALLY players for their play did not,( in most cases), play themselves.  For if they did, they would know better!!
It may seem like that, but the reason is it's always easier to criticize the decision after it's made.  Hind sights always 20/20 right?  And I hear you saying people shouldn't do that and should always support the coach.  I agree, but good luck on that one.
15. Buco:  I'm pretty sure Jasper is legit.  We went from everyone picking Jasper to win and now since Jasper lost, they aren't legit???  I don't think so.
16. fyi, Gregory-Portland has a smaller enrollment than PNG, they're listed at 1400 students.
17. PNG will be fine, but they better not take their 20-4A opponents too lightly!!   SAFETY NOTE - - -  PNG fans please be safe driving home.
18. Is it too late to buy out Faircloth's contract?  Maybe he could take Butch's position, probably the same money ;D ;D ;D ;D
