I think folks are going to be surprised by the dimensions LeBaron can bring to the table.  A polished passer, great pocket presence... and will run surprisingly well when called upon.  I think Mayfield has seen this kid play and called it right.  Everybody knows Krautz is going to get his, it's about the other tools in the shed right now, we'll see Friday night.

Oh yeah Dogs 38 Crosby 35 ! Y'all will score , our young "  D "is a work in progress . Thing is I don't think you can handle our "O" line and we got speed  and air mail too . So lookin for a good one .. .

I've never seen so much hot air congregate around Crosby as this year , it's caused all their fruit to get ripe too soon and it's ready to pluck now instead of December ! See y'all Friday have a safe trip over now y'all hear ...we don't want anything bad to happen to ya till you get here . And we hope you get home safe . Just take that wounded pride back west with you when you leave , find a dab of humility in it , swab up those sore lips with a little peroxide and we might even root for ya later . I mean by a  technicality y'all are Southeast Tx . We do usually all stick together in December .  Do y'all have an opportunity to play then ? Probably so if you get your heads on straight ! Now does anyone believe these are players talking --- nah , they know what's on the line , they have an excellent coach & staff who are a little more classy than a few fans . So see y'all Friday .

I will not say emphatically that Crosby WONT give my Dogs a beat down ... They absolutely have the horses to give a beat up and a beat down... Just don't think it happens

Crosby may, and I stress " may " win against Nederland, but you won't see a " beat down " if they do win.
Just my opinion !  Guess we'll have to let them play the game Friday to find out for sure.

I think Ned fans should have every reason to be optimistic about this game. They're playing with house money and have a coach who wanted Crosby on his schedule. They don't even have to win the game for it to be considered a successful evening. Just keep it within 20 and raise questions. 
Crosby has lost their last 4 trips east of the Trinity. I'm sure the kids at Ned are tired of hearing about Crosby and therefore won't make it any easier to break that streak. 
I think Crosby getting out of Nederland with a 10-15 point victory in that type of environment would justify the ranking, winning by 20+ would justify the hype. If Crosby looks razor sharp Friday night, on the road twice as far as any other road game on the schedule, the rest of the state might want to stand up and take notice. 
Maybe they'll just look like it's the first game of the season and win by 5 points again though? 

Finally a sane post from west of the Trinity ! You all no doubt have an excellent  team . We give you that . You all should believe it and quit trying to sell yourselves on it , thats what you are doing ! Take the ride & enjoy it . Nothing lasts forever . We understand , we been there done that . As sure as your up you'll be down -- y'all been there so have we .All that said y'all wont hit us in the mouth no more than we hit you  , we do play a physical game  !  We are still gonna show up and play.   We Actually have quite a few weapons of our own . But our D is young . We certainly ain't scared and when it's done we'll both be better off for having played . Big Ned is well regarded statewide all you have to do to " justify " is win here on the road  . Not even points! So see y'all Friday and let's get it on !

Hmmmm! Deflategate . They love stats in Crosby so I  want know what was the average rate of decline in the code Red head size ?
 

There were three Nederland coaches sitting on side of us at the press box steps. They wrote down every play and formation Crosby ran. I'm sure Crosby's coaching staff was well aware as they had to pass right by them to get into the press box. 
Controlled portion Crosby worked screen game and scored once, Willis didn't score. In the first quarter of live Crosby scored 14, Willis didn't score. In the second quarter starters mixed with backups played on both teams. Crosby scored 7, Willis scored 14. The last td was on the last play of the scrimmage with pretty much all backups in for Crosby. 
Crosby was practicing, Willis was playing a bi-district game. It's all over though. Now we get to line up against 22-5A's 4 time defending district champion and do it for real. 

Get pressure on Cotton you might have a chance. Wet the field and use the crown of it as an advantage. Still wont help in my opinion.

I think it was 7 to nothing in the controlled portion. and 21-14 in the second portion of the scrimmage. The live section. So two 7 point margins tonight. Either Willis is much better than we thought or Crosby had a slow night!!!

Didn't play. Crosby brought their Freshman team.. Varsity in town getting sized for rings.... Lol. 

And if those fiscal policies arent implemented via an election, the markets will impose them aka Greece, which just had its third bailout in five years.  That suggests adequate steps were not taken to deal with the problem.  I am more concerned with the debt issue than I am with the semantical aspect of my post.  When you teach your child to save money, you may not be running a business but you are teaching the child to conduct their lives in a financially responsible manner ( oft called business like).  Hence my reference to business.

My original point was that I feel that we elect people based soley on social issues.  I am contending that if we dont pay more attention to the fiscal side of the operation, we will not be able to deal with social issues.  Greece is my evidence.   Sound business principles, which include proper debt management, deserve more attention from my perspective, regardless of how you label. it.  I think those who live in Detroit would also concur.

As you will see in a post I made above, to another Cougar fan, I touched on that point. So while trying to entrap me in a web of my own words, you should read ALL of my words.
Im not from the mecca of football area that you live in, I live in Groves. I love the "atmosphere" (thats for Soulja) of Friday nights and the band playing Cherokee. I don't worry about stats, I just watch and enjoy the game. They get on the field and play for us and thats enough for me. Win or lose, I know they did their best. All this other mess is a byproduct of a bunch of adults in a pee pee contest.

This is basically what the scrimmage looked like all night. It was a solid practice, I don't think people are taking much more from it than that.
