Newton wins this game with no problem. IMO , Newton’s next competitive game won’t come until the 4th round of the playoffs & they will probably lose or get beat in the state semis. Hope I’m wrong. 😬😬

I was asking if based off what you saw , does Newton have a state championship team. I see last years score was pretty similar. Newton won 65-20.

I see their playing Newton tomorrow night. Has anyone watched them play? Are they any good? Is it A team Newton could have trouble with?

IMHO HD won’t be challenged until week four. They will blow through WH & Sabine Pass. Cushing will be their first real challenge.

Thought United would be blowing out Nederland. They look 2 times their size. But good game on hand so far.

Burkville started the game off decent and showed some promising signs early but HD was just to much. I wish Coach Williams and staff the best. HD seems to have a promising future in their freshman class. The QB Sellers, Broussard the RB and the other kid # 44 Victorian look really good and fast. Interested in how they will fare in district play.

Are there any scoring updates on this game?

Good stuff H-D Bobcat 55. I was told that the Peterson boy ended up coming back from liberty to Daisetta. I was unable to be at their practice today to actually see. Do you know if there is any truth to this?

Huffman is way better than Splendora. I watched splendora against Silsbee and Huffman against Furr. With that said, Silsbee is still a 15 to 20 point better team. I was impressed at how well Huffman made their free throws. They made very few mistakes.

Any thoughts on this game? I suspect that the majority will say that Woden has the upper hand but this HD team is a very scrappy bunch. The only down side I see is that they don't have very many players on the team overall. But regardless it won't surprise me if this game remains close with HD having a chance in the end. Am i off my rocker? :)))))))

I’m not the smartest cat when it comes to knowing basketball but I will say I’ve been impressed with the girls basketball coach in Hull Daisetta. I don’t even know his first name . Last name is Martin. I’ve been to three of their games this year and was at the one tonight “area playoff game agains Shelbyville” and HD had 8 players total and for the majority of the game he kept the same starters on the court and Sd must have had 10’players. And he was able to coach them girls to a tough win. Pretty cool to see especially with limited depth on the bench.

I hope to leave around 5:30 in the morning and catch the first game with Mason and then stay for Newton game. About a 4 hour trip form my place. Gonna be along day.

If H-D wins, there in the 4th spot for a playoff game which would be bad. If they win the next two , they’d be in third place and looking better. But just curious if you think H-D can beat WS tonight. H-D struggled on Offense last week against Shelbyville. D looked ok but gave up the big play. Im gonna step out on a limb and say H-D by 2 Give me 26-24 in favor of HD.

I thought I saw on here awhile back where the stand out player “Brown” was out. It’s none of my business to why he’s out, I’m just curious is he out for the season or just a few weeks?
