I'm thankful y'all have been practicing... when your on that 3 hour bus ride and you start noticing the drive getting darker and darker your gonna realize your not playing a bunch of city boys.. these piney woods boys don't care how many A's you've got next to your classification. I said this game should be a good match up ... the reason is I've herd y'all run the spread our Defensive secondary will match up well against your offense. our offense should control the game and time of possession...

But if you notice over the years it's the same city or communities that continue to have these issues... It's a culture within the communities that continues to fester year after year

The Jasper boys want to play the game in LCM !!! That way they leave no doubt ... The only reason LCM is leading the district in home runs is the LCM short field!!! That very well could back fire on them tonight... So get the swamp ready cause the DAWGS are headed south !!!!

These Jasper kids have been playing in "big" games their whole life !!! Nothing LCM can do to distract them. I have a feeling the LCM crowd won't have much to cheer for after the game starts. Jasper without a doubt had the toughest route through region 3.

carthage is way over rated...i know we are not facing the teams best pitchers but carthage did not look like a typical carthage team..Diboll looked better than them...

jasper gets its first district win 4-2 over center...

jasper JV (8 fresh, 1 soph) is 8-0 with wins over vidor jv 2-0, Livingston 12-2...looking forward to watching them play more 4a schools later this week in the vidor jv tourn.

not refering to this year...but in other sports as well..sometimes the 3rd place team advances further and not because they got "hot"...the lower bracket will be stacked in reg 3 D2.

IF I am looking at the bracket right..and thats a big IF... Jasper beats Center...jasper would play Navasota the 2nd round..CS or Lamarque 3rd round..then reg. championship Center beats Jasper...jasper would play WOS  the 3rd round..then reg. championship.. I hate these type of senerio's but it seems like you see a team you beat easily during the year advance further during the playoffs..

I bet the Carthage coach talked to the ref before the game about chop blocks...those calls are very questionable

Jasper had 2 huge penalties that allowed Carthage to score 14 points. 2nd half will be a dog fight... Jasper moving ball well at times... Need to stay with Middleton at rb.. Walker is gonna have to make plays at qb.

Jasper's offense will have to "click" to beat carthage..The defense will keep jasper in the game..I hate to put it on one player but the qb will have to make play's in the passing game for jasper to win.  Our offensive line will have trouble like they did against wos.  I hate the fact that the only other quality team we have played up to this point is wos..(no disrespect ment)  We have either blown teams out or lost, our closest win was 21-7 against BC.  If jasper does'nt turn the ball over and Carthage has 3 turnovers jasper will win.

that qb for tatum was un-stoppable ..best freshman athlete I've seen in a long time..

I have set through many rain storms, but for the first time I can remember, I left at halftime. Yes, it was that bad.

We didnt see much offense from BC against jasper...but the qb looked to be good when he had time to throw..the td at the end of the game was a beautiful pass to the corner..he may not have enough weapons to work with..the BC defense was ok they took advantage of jasper mistakes...for BC to beat silsbee they will have to find a lot more offense than they showed in jasper...with all that said BC is not bad and should at least take the third playoff spot..

jasper is "giving" free tickets to this game...our jv will be suited up for this game since there is not a jv game tonight..they were the only team we could find that did not already have a game scheduled this week...although i heard we may play pittsburgh (tx) next yr instead of them....we had a team drop on us but i cant remember who it was..I bet when barbay gets to schedule games (he inherited this one) we will play better quality oppenents.. freshman "A" vs shelbyville jv..tonight at 6 in jasper freshman "B" vs kountze in kountze

BC handled Jasper alot better than I expected.. I was one that predicted Jasper to score 50..it was good to see shugart playing football...I know he has a bright future in baseball.

I dont think anyone cares for the next three week's....jasper should go back to scoreing 50 over BC, NO, and Diboll.  Oct. 26 vs Carthage will be our next test..
