1. More information than I had.  Thank you again.
2. All I need to know is if HF freshman will be playing them on the 25th of October.  Baby Momma is flying in on her broom that weekend to make an appearance and of course it will be my fault if there is no game.  Help a brother out if you can.
3. Is Silsbee fielding a freshman team this year?  No smack intended or implied.  So many schools do not have freshman teams it is difficult to know who does and who doesn't.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
4. Well sadly I have to report that this group is now 19-1.  Streaks are made to be stopped.  WOS  played better than we did last night.
5. Yes, three starters on varsity, one starter out with a broken thumb. Dropped a tournament game to CO Wilson and a district game to Silsbee in basketball.
6. I know that the majority of the posts on this forum are about the varsity teams for each school, but I would like to give props to the Hamshire-Fannett 9th grade team for their past and recent accomplishments.  Counting their 7th, 8th and 9th grade games played, this group of young men are currently 19-0.  As a father and youth coach of these young men it has been a privilege and honor to work with them and watch them grow as athletes and young adults.  They have a love for the game and are students to their craft.  Everyone knows that anything can happen between 9th grade and 12th grade.  Parents get job opportunities and move, players lose interest and choose to follow different dreams, selection of a single sport over playing multiple sports, and the worst of all INJURY, anything can happen.  These young men have the support of their parents, we will forever be there.  They have an, “I don’t know how to lose attitude.”  Winning like losing is contagious.  The disease is running rampant with this group.  Individually they are just like any other 14-15 year old, but as a team, they have intensity, focus, purpose, and determination.  Will they always be undefeated?  God willing.  Will they always have the support and respect of their parents and the community of Hamshire-Fannett?  Forever and ever.  Gentlemen I would like each and every one of you to know how proud we are of your accomplishments both on and off of the field and that we are here to support you.  We look forward to great things from you throughout your high school career.

8. You are correct it is what it is, simply our opinions.  Nothing more than light hearted banter on a regional forum that means absolutely nothing, nothing to get offended about.  Thanks for sparring, next topic.
9. My hopes for Kendrick to not get injured are personal and have nothing to do with winning football games.  As for entertaining you and your inability to refute my comment speaks for itself.  This is a solid group of young men and their record speaks for itself.
10.

Lets be honest, Kendrick is the glue to that 8th grade team at HF. He make makes that team go.
Kenrick is a special player, but without Kendrick that group would still win their games convincingly.
I absolutely disagree with that statement.
If you disagree that this group would still win their games convincingly you know nothing about football.  There are two sides of the ball and while King is without question a powerful force on offence, anyone who knows anything knows that Defense wins championships.  This groups defense swarms their opponents and shuts them down.  King is involved on defense but unless it is a pass play or a break away very seldom needs to get involved.
11. 8th A H-F. 38 WOS. 18 Excellent game. Pathetic and I mean pathetic officials tonight.
12.
8th HF : 28 Huffman: 7
Really enjoyed watching the boys play last night.  The Huffman QB has to have one of the strongest arms in Junior High in SETX.  Would even include freshman teams.  He put the ball in the air multiple times, all well over 45 yards and was simply out throwing his receivers.  He finally connected with one and resulted in their only score for the evening.  Give him a few years and he could be running their offence as a sophomore.  Fun to watch.  The HF defense was just too strong and contained them.  Longhorn offence is a machine.  Great competition and look forward to playing Huffman next year.
