Congrats WO-S on another great season.  You have nothing to hang your heads about.  Making it to the 4th round is no easy accomplishment.  There were many who thought early in the season you would never make it this far and you all proved them wrong.  Congrats also to Coldspring.  Your defense proved to be everything it was billed and your offense especially your running game proved to be unstoppable.  Good luck the rest of the way and I hope you take home the state trophy.

OK so i  mispelled his name...but was he injured? was there a reason he had only 5 or 6 totes?

Been wanting to ask this since last week game against Central but just now having the time to ask...Was LCM RB Sezar injured some last week.  I think he only carried the ball 5 or 6 times the entire game.  I realize every school they play keys on him, but you would think he would still get more carries than that.  Sooner or later he's bound to break one.  In contrast, Centrals main RB (can't remember his name) had over 30 carries for nearly 200 yards.  He got better and stronger as the game went on.  Just wondering...

Seems like LCM is not running that much especially Sezar. They are throwing too much.

Well  was able to open the link up on my home computer.  Maybe it was something to do with my computer at work.  Maybe a filter or something...

Must be something with my computer or internet. It still brings up sep 23 games no matter which link i click.

well not long after I posted this I got word that the school that represents the district U.I.L. never faxed the paperwork to Austin. Guess that explains the delay. 

What was told to us after they ruled in his favor was everything would be sent to Austin where they only had to sign off on the districts decision.  Then they could fax the paperwork back to school and the student would be immediately eligible. It just seems like it is taking entirely too long unless there's something else going on they are not telling us.  I would like to think they would be up front and keep us advised if anything was wrong.

Anyone know how long it takes for the U.I.L. in Austin to approve a decision on eligibility that was approved by the district U.I.L. committee?  We had a hearing last Wednesday and the local committee approved the case and we were told everything would be sent to Austin where they almost never overturn the local districts decision. Its been 8 days and I would have thought we would have heard back from Austin by now. 

I'll bet he will be back one day! Or at least try to get back!

I saw (or read, can't remember) an interview with Coach T where he said he'll probably plan on running the ball a little more.  I think thats probably a good idea.

Congrats to Coach Thompson! And congrats to the powers that be for hiring him.  You have made the right choice.

I did not play football there but have been a die hard fan of WO-S football since West Orange and Stark High merged.  My class was the 1st class to graduate there as Mustangs all the way from jr high.  Coach Thompson should be the next head coach!
