Way to hang in there and scrap hard LCM. I wasn't there but sounds like yall saved your best effort for the last game. Don't hang your heads, next year may be better. Work harder in the off season like yall never have worked before and try to get more kids involved and be TOTALLY dedicated to only one thing, ''FOOTBALL". good things will eventually happen.

Well as far as not making it past the 2nd or 3rd round, I unfortunetly would have to agree with you there. Not meaning this in a bad way but the district WOS is in does not offer much competition which hurts WOS in the playoffs. Again not wanting to offend any of the other schools, but the level of play, speed, strength and aggressiveness on the football field is not even close.

What do you expect WO-S to do? Kneel the ball each play after they are winning by a certain number? If I'm a coach and my 2nd and 3rd string is still better than your 1st string then maybe you should do something to improve your team. You obviously don't know know Coach Hooks either. Than man has more class than you could ever imagine.

Has to be the "Dome". It was WO-S' home away from home in the mid to late '80's. Sad that a whole generation of Texas high schoolers have grown up not knowing the thrill of seeing a playoff game there or playing there for that matter.

Don't have enough players? I don't understand how that can happen at a 4A school? Numbers should not be a problem at a school like LCM. Something needs to happen to get more kids involved. That said I wish the kids that are playing the best of luck this week, especially the seniors as they play thier last game. To those I say, play hard, and leave nothing left on the field once its over, for this game you'll probably remember for the rest of your lives.

Better enjoy you hunting while you can fella's, with this new party getting into the White House, our hunting heritage and all shooting sports will be under attack like never before. Stock up on ammo and guns, they may be very hard to come by in the future. >

I will call her today. This is a chance for all former Mustangs to step up to the plate. I will find a way to get it done but it will be easier and faster with help. I'm sure it won't be free. If you have an interest in helping my number is 882-1943 feel free to call me. We can't all give everything but we all can give something. Here is your opportunity Mustangs, either sit on the sidelines and pi$$ and moan about things or get involved and help fix the problems. You can also pm me. T, when you talk to the secretary, call me and let me know what we need to do. Now, the biggest problem I have with this is that, if insurance money was paid to repair the sign then it should have been spent to repair the sign. Not spent ANYWHERE else. Also, wasn't there like 1.5 million dollars of that bond for updating and REPAIRS TO THE STADIUM? I would think that the sign in the stadium would fall under that. Sure is a lot of fishy crap going on... Whwn you start talking about this much money, things always start smellin fishy...no matter what the issue is..

Anyone know what time kickoff is for WOS-Royal? Seems like I read in the paper this week it was 7 then another day in a different paper it said 7:30.

No booster club??? WOW! I recently moved back to the area after nearly 20 years of being away and did not know this. Hard forme to believe, things sure have changed since I went to WOS.

WB would probably win, but it wouldn't be a blow out I think. WB pulls away a little in the 2nd half, but that Mustang pride makes it close at the end. Personally I like to see a repeat of what WOS87 stated! I was in the stands for that one and what a night it was!

Ch 6 weather update, NHC now predicting a 20ft surge in Sabine lake, Port Arthur and Bridge City areas. anyone staying below I-10 needs to leave! Not good. Good luck to all and God Bless.
