  1. I think this will be a good game for the bulldogs to open up the playbook even more than they did last week. Just to work on some things in real game situations for when they need them in a close game. I heard The starting an came out AGAIN and the back up went in and sling the ball around AGAIN last week. You would think he gets the start right? Wouldn’t make sense for him not to.

  2. Mannnnnn I been telling y'all Nederland is going to have to start passing the ball more and with confidence to win these tougher games they are going to play. Last night they showed strength in a lot of areas, including that they can be composed and come from behind late in the game! That was a great team win. The offense looked like much more of a threat last night than it has all year. Coach finally was forced to open up the playbook a little more and it made the Dogs look like a new offense. That sophomore running back was a force last night. Congrats BullDogs. Mid county madness is going to be another great one.

I am dontating to the district. I’m buying my old lady a bigger house soon as I get back from playing golf in Chicago which means more tax dollars for the district. You stripped and picked off the backup, Crosby would’ve scored 40+ on Vidor in regulation had Howard been there. Point is that everything went your way, including 100+ yards in penalties and you still lost. I was waiting for Crosby to come back and win, even at 20-0 you were still hoping Vidor would.

Lol, donate to our district? I swear to God, no exaggeration that your entire town looks like 3rd ward in southwest Houston. Hell, I was going to donate some food to those people living in that pop-up camper across from the stadium.

You sound like a very ignorant person. Hope you stay in the casino or on the golf course. Don't bring your horrible influence as a person back this way. Stay clear of the schools, it's people like you that make a bad name for people in your area.

  4. Nederland won't win if they don't change the play calling up a lil bit. Just Lil bit.... I don't understand how they run the same plays over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again and no one ever loads up the box on them. The QB can't throw, especially since he doesn't have that big receiver from last year to save his butt just throwing the ball up and praying,  make him beat you with his arm BH.

Just how we were going to be trying to stop the bleeding as soon as the clock starts against PA Memorial?  If I recall, y'all walked out of there with a late TD and a 10-3 victory.  So what are you saying?  WB is way better than PA?  WB has more discipline than PA?  WB coaches are much better than PA?

Now this is just my opinion....... everybody has one. Y'all couldn't beat WB on your best day and catching WB on their worst

    Yes, yes, and yes.

After I read the season previews and saw the turnout I told my wife they should cancel football. They just don't have the numbers. There aren't enough kids to scrimmage in practice, not enough kids big enough to play on the lines. There's no JV or freshman teams, which makes it dangerous because you have kids going from middle school football to varsity who aren't ready for JV and in some cases aren't ready for freshman football. I hate to see it because you have kids that want to play just not enough of them. I thank God there were no major injuries before they pulled the plug.

There's no Freshman or Jv football teams at a lot of small schools. I agree with the season being called this year, but if they had normal numbers then it wouldn't be as dangerous even with no freshman or jv teams in place.

  8. The numbers are usually about 30 players for the Sharks football team. That's about average for 2a schools, the reason the numbers are down this year has a lot to do with the fact that there are thousands of people that were displaced in Harvey and still haven't returned. Sabine relies on transfers to fuel the numbers for its athletics program.  The fact that there are people on here saying the kids don't have to work is absurd. Do you realize what it means to be a talented athlete at a small school? It means you play every play of every game on both sides of the ball, even speacial teams. You tell me one 5a player that does that. I don't care if the talent level isn't the same, it takes a lot for a kid to do that and put 100% till the buzzer. ESPECIALLY if they are getting beat. Big school players don't have to have the conditioning that small school players have, because they get a break when the ball changes hands. Those athletes at the small schools after football season, are expected to play basketball, and then run track or play baseball. It's tons of work day in day out for a year long. On top of keeping your grades up and staying healthy. Look at the average gpa of Sabine pass and the graduation rate and then compare it to your school.  It's also crazy that anyone would say that the small schools in the area should combine. Do you realize that would put many more kids per teacher in the class room? Which means that there is much less attention given per kid which would more than likely result in a decrease in the level of education that the kids receive. There have been some comments on here that are just out of line and straight up ingorance has been shown.

#11 is fine, could of came right back in but it was 19-0 middle of 3rd so coaches let his brother play for the experience.Bryce is a better pocket passer Blaysin has the experience and leadership, plus the ability to make things happen outside the pocket,if you notice everything he does is from rolling out and tucking it and running.Total differant styles..I’m the Dad and I know Blaysin isn’t a qb,he has the linebacker mentality..He does what the coaches ask of him!!They both do what they are asked to do and did a good job last night!!!

I agree with the leadership. But without a quarterback that can throw down field the Nederland offense won't be one that can go deep into the playoffs. All they do is roll out or tuck it and run, nothing more than that.
