I believe you're right about BC. LCM doesn't have a lot of Sr.'s but I do think they are loaded with Jr.'s

The team that makes the least amount of mistakes, to go alone with timely hitting to produce runs wins.. So to say this, I predict WOS to Outright be District Champions....It's Senior Night for a great group of young (Sundgren, Partain, Jones, and Tyler) and could lead up to be a distraction and slow start for Silsbee...It also will be KJ 18th Birthday. An for him to win a Outright DC in baseball will be a great present and a goal he sit out to achieve since a youth...Good Luck To Both Teams but WOS WINS

Agreed he would be in the top several pitchers in the 4A district. They could also hit as well as the other 4A teams I have seen this year.

Heard BC pitched several different  pitchers in the game   BS only pitched 1     seems like you would want to get several on the bump to get ready for the playoffs.     It's just a scrimmage.

I didn't realize LCM had freshmen starting. Who starts for them as a freshman and a sophomore? I thought they had a lot of Jr.'s starting.

It was a warm up game... It was meant to get some arms loose and get some youngsters on the field.  Hats off to BS for the win.

How about some stats to back up you claims?  I am sure a WOS parent or fan can supply JD3's stats.  I know he has under a 1 era and maybe 1 loss on the season.  As far as your list goes.... I would say all are as good but not sure which one is "better"   I've seen Sundgren three times just this year, and he is the real deal without a doubt, but he lost to Jack and the Mustangs once already.  This is only my opinion, and I'm trying to get some baseball talk going.

The best pitcher as well as clutch baseball player in setx in my opinion. He definitely has the stats to prove it.

Just curious ... did you see the WOS /Silsbee game. JD is right at the top no doubt. excellent CB and can throw it for strikes

If I'm correct the Mustangs have clinched at least second place in district and as far as a proud dad goes, how about that no no Chad Dallas threw against LCM with 14 K's.

Yes district opponents can only meet in 3rd and regional final round. By looking at the brackets if they did a simple switch you could change that to the 4th and 5th rounds which I like the chance of proving who the toughest district is.
Also be aware that with the change in district number, our district will meet a much tougher district in the first round with the likes of Hudson, Jasper, Huntington. Rather than the Huffman district who we have seen in the first round for many years with the Coldsprings, Shepherd, and Tarkington. Splendora was typically the two seed, but has moved up to 5A. But remember HJ moved to that district now and looks to be the favorite to win it. They will matchup with intercity Houston schools first round.

BC is gonna have to quit beating themselves before they can beat anyone else....Hoping the boys can bounce back and start winning some games soon!

Another very good questions that they cannot answer

Why is the ump watching the feet instead of the ball?  If batter took the pitch, how would he know if it was a ball or a strike?

Doesn't solve the problem.  That line is gone very early in the game.
Problem is that umpires do not know the rule. You could have the heal of your foot on the chalk and as long as your foot is not on the plate, you are still considered in the box.  With any normal size foot, its impossible to be completely outside the lines and not be on the plate.

Only happened once to this kid.  He fouled the previous pitch off with 2 strikes, so why not call it then.  Why wait until a base hit?
