I hate to see this happen and not fair to those boys that might play 8 or 9 games. I really pray and hopefully that they can find someone 10 games instead 8 or 9 games.

Brownwood schedule:
Aug. 26 Canyon (at Lubbock Cooper)
Sept. 2 at Graham

Sept. 16 Alvarado
Sept. 23 Giddings (at Mary Hardin-Baylor)
Sept. 30 OPEN

I agree with kicker's message. It is not matter to play who so it is all about improve the game and prepare for district plus playoffs as well. Let's hope and see.

I agree with you all. I am so proud to be part of this and boys who played so hard to win the championship game. They are deserve it to be STATE CHAMPION! Let's them enjoy during Christmas and New Year. I am not surprised that they will work hard in off season during summer time. I hope that they will stay focus and not overconfident. I am sure that coaches will keep them to focus. Again, I am still can't even stop and excited about finally won the state champion since 1987.
Go Mustangs!!

Man! What a great game! First of all, I highly respect and very impressive of Martinez #5 from what I saw that he played so hard and show a BIG heart to play football on the field.
I respect Cuero and they should stay head up plus ready for next year. Wish you all the best!
I was nervous whole the game this game than last week. I am so thrilled and looking forward to watch Mustangs at NRG next Friday.

the call before halftime was pure bull$#!+ and tilted the game at that time but they had their chances.
I totally agree with you. I was there and very clear that there is perfect play when DT touchdown. Also, I keep watch DVD SC WOS vs. Gilmer several time to make sure if wrong or right call however it was terrible call and it was clean play.

I am so ready for some football! I know it's early to discuss and not hurt to post.
I know that they lost lot of starters but would like your opinion and thought about this Fall? It will be interesting how they will fill in lot of position and boys have to step up quick. They should be good again.
Go Mustangs!
