i totally agree with that. puts everybody in an akward situation, causes bad feelings with people in their current schools and towns. there are always going to be rumors about who is applying for jobs, but lets let them be just that until someone is hired. Geeeeez, where was everyone when PNG was getting slammed for not releasing there list?????

The Master requirement is more than just about a coach coming in and just coaching football. The AD is also responsible for the academic's of all student athletes. So yes, I think it is a great requirement and something the kids can look up to and respect.

I read Aledo went 11-1. They lost in the 2nd round to Everman 24-7. They beat Stephenville 24-20

I have to disagree, the players have suffered because of his coaching style or lack of... Sorry my 2 cents

Abel is a good man, but I have always questioned his coaching style. He has been out coached in every game I have been too including lastnight.

I remember being in a 3 point stance and the coach would come up behind you and kick you in the rear to check if you had correct stance. Can't do that now days, the mommies would be all over the coaches!!!!

So which is it, he "isn't leaving WB" or you "don't believe he'll leave WB"? ;D I don't think he is interested in leaving WB. I have no issues with Danaher's age!!!! Hopefully he can come in and bring a good young assistant with him and groom him to take over when he retires

No dislike or disdain, I love PNG and their fans. Just a little "ribbing" between district foes. Ahhhh.....ok....no prob. I've always supported the Raiders, was very glad to see them reach the playoffs and such, guess was just a little surprised. Believe it or not, Lumberton has quite a few PNG fans that supported them in thier playoff berths! To be honest I went to every Lumberton playoff game the past 2 yrs, wearing my purple of course. ;D ;D ;D
