I was wondering why the economy is so bad, the number of unemployed people has risen, and the governmental bailouts happened. Now I know! It's the media! Better blame the media too when you read the scores from Friday night. I'm not a media sympathizer but be realistic here. The Board is willingly and knowingly breaking the law and how did you find out about it? The media. Who is holding PNGISD accountable for breaking these laws? The media. Who is making sure that YOUR freedom to know what is going on is not being violated? So, in essence, the media are looking out for your liberties more than you are. Just a thought here....paper and ink are cheap. The way the PNGISD handled this situation is a lose/lose situation. All I can say is after the smoke clears, the Board better get used to even more scrutiny from the media outlets. This will not be pretty. I have talked to many PNG residents and I assure you that they are not happy at all about the deliberate refusal to adhere to the law. The parents I know say, and I quote, "What example do they think they are setting? They are acting the same way that the adminstrators discipline the students for." Now THAT'S irony. I guess government classes are cancelled for the remainder of the school year. They have 10 days!!! They have broken no laws.

Personally I do not want Stump. He was a average coach at Kelly and the games he won at WB he should had won with the talent he had. He is an average coach. If he was anymore don't you think better programs would be knocking down his door?

LCM is also requiring a Masters Degree. Long does not have one.

Isn't that choice really up to the Coach that they hire? Are they really going to evaluate among themselves, or the committee, or the group of Dads, or whoever has the hiring power at PN-G, that they want to run power football so that's the only coaches they will look at? Good grief, if that's the case, no wonder the situation in PN-G is so screwed up. Why is it so hard to understand that this is an open discussion and not some attempt to influence either the powers that be at PN-G or some future head coach? I too have wondered whether a spread oriented coach or power oriented coach would be better. What difference does it make if people express their opinion here? Why does there always have to be a group of you that have no connection to the PN-G program on here running your mouths? Because you guys over there in purple and white are so jumpy now (as you illustrate) - it's fun to get under your skin. It's a forum man: when I comment you say it's running my mouth. When you comment it's pearls of wisdon. I suspect the answer lies somewhere in between. I'll quit though since it seems to upset you. I have been to a home game. 3 years ago watched dayton and at halftime the great png locals were leaving like the place was on fire. At the beginnig of the game there were 7,500 fans in the stands. Dayton has NEVER played in front of a home crowd even remotely close to that. No other school in this part of the state has the season ticket base that PN-G has. You obviously have never seen a PN-G game in the Astrodome in front of over 30,000. PN-G football "historically speaking" is one of the top 10 programs in the whole state of Texas. Live right now is AWEsome as a Dayton fan, Dayton fans continue to pack the stands for their games, but they have a following of about 5,000. That is nowhere nears what PN-G would bring to the games. I'll be there Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, don't let my kids hang out at the Mall due to the type of people that hang there....sorry What type of people? I don't understand. Can you be a little bit more specific? Trouble makers. Most of them have there parents drop them off and all they have to do is cause trouble. And this has nothing to do with race so don't try to turn this into it. We have as many trouble makers here in PNG as other places. When I was a teenager, I was dropped to the mall or rode the bus there. Me and my friends. We never caused trouble...I'm through trying to understand. You say this have nothing to do with race? But I believe it was you and your friends that call our boys 'thugs'. : : People like you and SFA are whats wrong with the world.
