But now he’s getting winded.
He is actually one of the best distance runners in southeast Texas. More like Silsbee stepped up the defense.

Argyle didn’t win boys or girls track. kennedale won the girls and La Vega won the boys. Argyle actually didn’t place in the Top 10 in girls or boys Track and Field.

Pretty sure Duncanville in 1998-99 the year I graduated from high school.

1) No intentionally foul, good old basketball
2) Yes teams that apply a full court press (Yates) usually commit more fouls
3) This is mainly a Silsbee thread
4) Usually the losing team will cry/complain about the foul count
5) It is what it is in sports 🏀

Yates press full court, the ref’s don’t call every foul. The losing team usually doesn’t get all the calls to go their way. Ask Yates Fans 👍🏿😂😜🏀
No one has answered my questions.
1) was Harvey intentionally fouled?
2) simple question do teams that full court press foul more than teams who do not? I have watched Huffman play a lot this year. I don’t remember seeing a player from Huffman get 4 or more fouls and that’s playing 7 players. Has Silsbee fouled less in the majority of the games they played? Based on the last several posters Silsbee must foul less than opponents. I seriously don’t know the answer.

Silsbee full court presses. Do you think the teams who press foul more or less?

After seeing the replay yes it was and should have been called an intentional. I havent said anything about the officiating in the game as i didnt want to be seen as making an excuse etc. but there were definitely some things i would question as far as the officiating especially after hearing a few things.
So minus the hard foul you think the refs favored Huffman? Just curious because I believe that’s what your saying.
Was the foul on Harvey late in the game intentional when Silsbee player wrapped arm around him and pulled him down? If not no worries just curious.

It is my understanding that if the refs had called a flagrant foul he would of been tossed from the game. If he had been tossed maybe the outcome would of been different. Who knows? I doubt if he will be suspended now. That whole HH team is rocked up from spending time in the weight room. That is fair. If an opposing player tries to get a rebound he gets worked over. That's probably how the HJ player got into a fight. The HJ player threw a punch so he got suspended. I will leave that there. I am curious what the HH coach had to say.
The kid who fouled the Silsbee kid hard played less than 1 minute of the entire game. He didn’t go back in after the foul.

I wanted Lumberton to win cause I know coach Mitchell and I like the guy, but other than that I have nothing to do with Lumberton nor do I live there.
so really I didn’t want Huffman to win either.
I don’t think texashoops stating he wants a team to lose on a sports forum because of certain coaches is going to dictate the actual winner/loser of a game....I understand you coach there but in reality what people say on this forum has no bearing.
Really thanks for that information I appreciate you letting me know that...I thought it did. I’m done I have been watching this for awhile and being from HF and being on first ever District champions at HF in basketball I pay attention. I have been at Huffman for a long time so care about both programs I am in the coaches office and everyone’s ideas of what goes on at Huffman is incorrect.

And they shouldn’t but when people like texashoops wants teams like Brookshire royal to win against Huffman just because he has a problem with coaches that’s not cool.
I went to hamshire, coach in Huffman, half my family is from HJ, and my wife is from Silsbee. So I am very familiar with the area.

The only problem with all of these accounts is they are based on other people's accounts. I was there and have no bias to either of the schools. I was right in front of where it all "went down". The HJ kid was already frustrated and when the ball got tied up and the Huffman kid would not give it up, the HJ kid slung him into the wall and started a melee of punches at him. The Huffman kid was completely thrown off and was trying to get him off. Yes the Huffman fans ran onto the court and most definitely shouldn't have. That being said they did not engage anyone and were quickly separated from the situation. The Huffman and HJ players both quickly got there as well and did a pretty good job of separating the kids and themselves from the other team. Other than the HJ kid throwing punches and the coaches shouting back and forth at each other there wasn't much action in all of it. The HJ kid in my opinion should have been suspended. Frustration is no excuse for how he handled that.
This is exactly what happened. The kids ran on the floor because they won and most likely didn’t even see the punches.
bullets said it was Huffman spectators fault HJ kid was suspended . It’s frustrating 4 games later and people are bringing it up so that’s why I said something. SETX community not liking Huffman gets frustrating when those kids have done absolutely nothing except play basketball.

Lumberton played worse game all year, it’s sports and it happens all the time, sometimes shots don’t fall and Huffman played well. I mean BC beat HJ sometimes you are going to have bad games, I think this is a game that will come down to the wire.
What a lot of Lumberton fans don’t realize (I am sure the coach does) the guy who guarded McClure, Luke Thomas, was still in football the first time they played Huffman. When a team struggles give credit to Huffman’s defense. I am sure it was a combination of both, but don’t be a homer and say it was just an off night.

I think that can all be thrown out the window anyway. Silsbee played several games at the beginning of the year without key players, then had the covid stuff. Since the playoffs have started they look like a totally different team. I'm going to take them over huffman by 10. I'm hoping so anyway, because all of the stupidity (instigated by huffman fans) at the end of the HJ/HH seeding game is the only reason that HJ lost their first round playoff game. There's a decent chance had that not happened HJ would at least have had some chance in still being around, as easily as this side of the bracket has played out.
You were at the game? The fans (high school students) were on the complete opposite end of the gym when the incident happened at the end of the game. I was at the game, watched a video filmed from HJ's side, and you are incorrect.
