lt wouldn't be funny, it would only mean a few schools finally had more money to pay off the refs than HJ had.

What happened last year is  not enough reason to name someone the starter this year.  Neither is how highly one was recruited or especially the performance in one game with the weather conditions that were present saturday night.  The starter this year should be picked by weighing all of these along with a large consideration to performances in practices and scrimmages.

No HJ is definately the heavy favorite!!!

Did the two transfers play and if so how did they look?

Yes the Tigers were good back then but to say they would have win  even one state title in 3A is  asinine.  The best team we had during  those years lost in the first round to a team that wouldn't have even sniffed Austinin3A!

We had our can't mis last year,  this year HJ has the can't miss.......

I have plenty of faith in those involved just hope it all ends the way it is hoped.

so the rumored possibility is going to be the reality.  Hopefully it will work out in the best possible way for the Tigers!

This year, at least 85% of the varsity basketball team will play football, including the transfers. Of the top 12 players on varsity, 10 will be playing football. Two good players at this height could be huge for the Tigers but it all depends on who the coach to is and how well all the kids adapt to that coach and his style.

The Tigers have to get a quality coach in place to be able to compete with HJ.  If that happens and these two can play then we may just offset enough of that HJ height to be able to compete with them this year. Otherwise,  Hardin County Havoc won't be too interesting.
