7 errors and only 4 hits aren't going to win many games no matter who you are playing.  Those stats alone show that last night BC was the better team.

The Tigers lack of defense has taken its toll !

How many games this year have the Tigers played and had less than 3 errors.

May be a time or two that fits but not my point.  I doubt that Mexia, Smith or West Oso are all better than Esacado or Kennedale that Burkeburnett beat.  Either of those two could be the second best team in the state.

It could be that one or two were good teams that had some luck along the way but weren't really one of the best 4.  It is also possible that more than one of the best teams were in the same region.

In 3A one third place team made it. I think their may be a benefit a far as keeping a routine going but the rest of it is the luck of the draw. Just depends on where the stronger teams are.
