And on top of that if that rumor was true, the trip was not even an hour away.

[/quote] You should know the answer to this.  You were there on the sidelines with your pocket protector full of pencils when a 31-0 Tiger team was upset in the first round.  So yes Coldsping could upset the Tigers,  but will they should be a completely different matter.  If this Tiger team plays up to their potential,  they should make it back to Austin.  If they play like they did in a few games,  it could be a short playoff run.  If they face HJ  again, they better keep their focus and not get overconfident.  It is always tough to beat a good team 3 times but it wouldn't be the first time the Tigers have done it.  Just ask last years WOS team.

Yes but in Huffman's defense they had their big man move during the season, wouldn't have mattered. They do have a pretty good looking freshman.

Baytown and Humble would seem to be good midway points but it depends on what is available.

All of this depends on what 4 teams make it to Austin. Lets assume the teams with the best records from each region make it.  Doesn't seem like that ever happens though. Region 1 Estacado 32-1 now 37-1 in Austin ,  Region 2 Argyle 30-3 now 35-3 in Austin,  Region 3 Silsbee 30-2,  35-2 in Austin,  Region 4 West Oso 29-3 & 34-3.  The winning percetages:                       Estacado  97.4                       Argyle      92.1                       Silsbee    94.6                       West Oso 91.9. So Estacado and Silsbee would be seeded 1 and 2 and placed in oppopsite games and the other two would be drawn to see who they faced.  If someone else goes from our region goes Argyle would jump into second and guarantee themselves of not facing Estacado until the finals.

Oh come on HJ has already paid for their rooms in Huntsville, there is no way Huffman or Cleveland can beat HJ.  They are 3 time state champions no way they lose to sub par schools like that. ;D ;D ;D

Estacado is tuff!! One thing in the Tigers favor after looking at the rankings,  if they get to Austin they won't meet Esacado until the finals, as the Tigers would have the second best winning percentage, unless there is an overlooked unranked team with a better record.
