It is too late in the year to be discusssing a qb change without an injury.  The one thing Drake gives at the qb position would be a stronger arm.  One of Reeds problems this year has been that our speedy receivers are sometimes outrunning his arm.  He tries to get the ball there and it ends up running out of steam and being a floater.  Sometimes those receivers need to come back to the qb so he can make a better pass.

I have seen you WOS guys talk about the lack of offense all year long after watching friday night its simple,  run first pass second.  Lindsey was a warrior, it was obvious how bad he was hurt and he just kept going(please tell me hes a senior). The only problem he has is purely size,  he isn't going to run through many players. The obvious comparison was to Barry Sanders,  catch him behind the line and you are ok otherwise you just don't know how many yards he is going to get. The first two drives of pass first were unproductive.And there was one  more drive deep in Tiger territory when they got a penalty and went 1st and 15 that they went to the pass too early to me(even though I think they still scored on fourth down), I still think they could have run a time or two there and been just as productive. 

The question to me on that call would be who touched the ball first, if it was WOS....it was a dead ball no matter if a Tiger touched or not. As far as the other calls, I know some were missed, the passinterference could have gone either way.  The tackle on the sideline was definitely questionable but wasnt as far out of bounds as you would think from the WOS side.  I know every tackle on the visitors sideline always looks out of  bounds to me from the home side.  Congratulations to the Mustangs, they beat us soundly,  a result of completely controlling both the offensive and defensive lings of scrimmage.

Everyone is focused on the defense, tonights game will likely come down to whos offense performs the best with the fewer mistakes since both defenses are fairly even.

Not making an excuse, like I said BC made the plays. They could have dropped the ball on a couple of those ints and it may have made a difference  they didnt they made the plays.  The penalties arent an excuse just a fact, BC still kept us outof the endzone.

I for one will not take anything away from BCin beating the Tigers, they did make the plays they needed to make. But the Tigers helped them at times with mistakes. That fist and goal from the 2  turned into first and goal from the 17 after three straight Tiger penalties.

I will say that between my wifes stand and mine I saw three fresh scrapes and a new rub yesterday.

Hunted off of 421 and in woodville last year This year only in woodville.

Haven't killed anything yet but did sit on my stand yesterday evening trying to see a pig and saw the nicest rack that I have seen on that stand. A good nine point here in setx. He didn't realize how lucky he was, the crosshairs were in the kill zone, only a couple weeks too early.

sorry guy,  I feel the Tigers should have beaten the Cards as well,  but only if we had at least cut our turnovers in half.  The refs could have made a mistake or two,  none that I really noticed,  but they sure didn't cost us the game.  BC's play and our mistakes did that.

We needed some height just to get us close to being able to play with HJ this year,  maybe now we can stay within 15 points anyway....

Tiger11 Drake did play his heart out last night. He gave everything he had but we still have to improve as an offensive unit from top to bottom.

After the loss last night 8-3 or 9-better.3 is going to be close.  We have a chance to finish the regular season 9-1 so that would make it 9-2 or 10-2.  The defense deserves better but our offense needs to get a lot  better. If that happens we could get past the second round.

Congratulations BC on the big win.  The Tigers have to quit making the big mistakes on offense.  Both BC and OF last week played great games,  but both weeks the Tigers have moved the ball well and not been able to score.  Too many penalties deep in the opponents territory and some bad passes as well.  We have got to establish the running game and utilize it.  The Tigers defense is staying on the field entirely too long.  To start the second half BC had a good time eating drive.  What do we do when we get the ball...three straight incomplete passes giving BC the ball right back.  Our defense looked exhausted in the second half.  At least a couple of those int's were the result of penalties pushing us back into long yardage situations.  Forcing the QB's to feel like they needed to make long throws.  I have been a little disappointed in our big oline as well. BC was doing a good job covering our receivers but we weren't giving the QB's much time to throw the ball either.  They spent too much time on the run.  Most of those int's were long floating passes.  We looked ok when we threw the shorter quick passes.  We need to get these kinks out.  Another great job by the Tiger D,  now lets get this offense going,  lots of weapons just need to stop misfiring.
