Ok from my point of view it doesnt matter how long one coached at a school to be considered the best. For example, if Phil Jackson came and  coached HF for one game wouldnt he still be the best coach HF ever had just not the most  successful at HF?

Looks like WB has turned the corner on their season with a couple of wins over Nederland and Silsbee and a good game here!

great job WB. However actually only the Nederland/WOS and Central/Memorial winners would have had to play 4 games to win the tourney.

I did not see this happen.  I can say I have never seen this player throw a punch at anyone.  I was told by one that had seen it that the player was trying to slap the ball back towards mid court,  missed ,  and the WB player was coming down at the same time and when he missed the ball he hit the player, not on purpose.  Like I said I didn't see it.

[/quote] I am not saying the Tigers played bad. We just didn't play real well. WB played a very good game, great defense. like I said they took it to the Tigers. We just didn't do some things near as well as we can. We didnt attack the boards like we need to at times and made some mistakes on defense. The Tigers looked like they were looking forward to the next game early on.

WB took it to the Tigers tonight. I will not blame the refs although one was absolutely horrible. The Tigers didn't play well.

I told people last night that after seeing HJ manhandle Nederland  and seeing some of Ned. In the YMBL and last night that they were better but I still wanted to see how they played against a press. Evidently it still isnt good!

That might be to the bulldogs advantage, but the Tigers just beat HCYA in that very type of game.

Good game for the Tigers and by those stats a great game for the littlest guy on the court Danti Wilson 7 rebounds against all that height.  Good job!!

Are the games there running on time?

Gaines being the only senior starter with one reserve graduating.  Now if we could get a few of these underclassmen to grow 6 or 8 inches!

And on top of that, the best thing about them, they are only juniors!

This game was pretty sloppy for the Tigers the whole way through.  It looked like a lack of focus at the beginning.  Many turnovers with passes that were too cute and lots of easy buckets for Legacy when we didn't get back on defense quick enough. I will give you that this is a much better Legacy team but the Tigers should have beaten them much worse.  Yes everyone played but that has been the case in most games for the Tigers.  Of course the amount of playing time for some depends on the game.  The Tigers would have scored 120 points if we wouldn't have missed a ton of layups.  We will have to make them all thursday because rebounds will be hard to come by.

For those of you who know the reason.  Is the truth going to come out our will the school district keep it quiet to avoid looking bad.

Don't know anything on the subject,  but the question may be will they make the reasons public?
