I am hoping Lowe adds a good bit to it. I don't know about McCain on the offensive side,. He would be a nice addition just not sure he will get used there as big a part as he is on defense. But we will still definitely miss that third option if someone doesn't step up.

i don't know what the situation is anymore, besides we both see each other several times during the summer and in a lot of ways it's probably better for us both to face other competition. Now I would like to hear why WB would back out of an already scheduled game.

I am saying the complaining and moaning would be going on and that's why a lot of schools don't want to play a WOS in football or a Silsbee in basketball, those moans and groans are a lot worse when one of the better teams in a higher class lose to a smaller school. And any of those games are learning, experience games before district starts that's why not Ozen and Silsbee have their schedules. A few years back when Silsbee and HJ were beating those Beaumont schools regularly word went out that they weren't to lose to us little schools anymore....and since then keeping those schools on the schedule has been a problem.

Hmm ok but you must be delusional we had one of the better teams in the state last year but you saw we got run off the court by the bigger schools in ft bend and I have no delusions that we would have beaten those 5A or 6A schools in the finals in SA last year. My point was if Ozen loses to those big schools you mentioned it was just that a learning experience but if they wee to lose to little old Silsbee people would be complaining and moaning, not that we are any more of a measuring stick than anyone else.

Playing big schools and losing is one thing playing a little in your backyard and losing is totally different!

I haven't seen it at least since last year... but I think I can remember it having very little on it a few years ago. But it really isn't a concern of mine other than seeing WOS fans stating the need for a new one.

Very true! But like lots of schools why can't say a business like a local bank or credit union donate one.

WB has dropped only Beaumont school we have scheduled will be Central.

Not sure on the number personally as I missed a couple games being on vacation, but according to the Silsbee Tigers twitter page he has 5.

Was talking last night about how we need to have a little more threat from the passing game going forward. Lowe should help that. One of the problems I have noticed is that Jones is normally under too much pressure when throwing. This may be that we have missed a block but I think more times than not it is either because of the defense loading the box for the run or it just taking too long for the pass to be made. Now I have personally never been a big fan of that quick swing pass, but we need some quick passes to try and help spread out the defense. Having that speed of both Lowe and Barnes will hopefully get this going. And if we do spread the defense out, the way Tyler is running, well...............
