I don't think it's the football part that they think you dont understand....it may be more along the lines of the political or "keeping it local" part of the coaching history of Silsbee football that they are talking about.....some got a new outside look like they wanted and some were just wanting things to stay the same.....I have no big problems at all with the way things are going in fact I like certain things......but others who didn't get what they wanted will continue to nitpick....
I know how good WOS is. Just saw the statement that the radio guys said it was a totally different offense. We ran into BC running there's last week. Several times I didn't know who had the ball. Surprised it worked that well against WOS defense at east for a half.
Ok let's see if this comes out right:
current standings:
10-4A-I
School District Overall
x-Bridge City 3-0 5-2
Silsbee 2-1 4-4
Navasota 2-1 2-6
Little Cypress-Mauriceville 1-2 3-5
Huffman Hargrave 1-2 4-4
Cleveland 0-3 3-5
bc has Navasota and Huffman left lose both end up 3-2.
silsbee has Huffman and Cleveland lose to Huffman beat Cleveland end up 3-2.
Navasota has BC and LCM beat BC lose to LCM end up 3-2
lcm has Cleveland and Navasota beat both end up 3-2.
Huffman has Silsbee and BC win both end up 3-2.
So in that scenario 5 teams end up in a tie for first.....not sure anybody guaranteed anything or how it would play out......
Nash with you being an hj guy and all the past talk of hj and the refs. You might not should have made that comment, some may think you made it based on experience!
Yes that's how the seed works. Only way the Tigers could get the first seed is for Navasota to win this Friday and we end up in a 3 way tie.
But I was just wondering if it was officially co champs like in basketball.
A win Friday should wrap up the top seed. But if you were to lose the next week and we win out,. I am not sure if you are district champs or co champs. I don't know the district rules if both teams in a tie record wise in football.
