I said this a-day or so ago. Everybody wanted to compare this group with the McCain and Adams years and with three straight finals that comparison leans to those years but you could argue that without FF this group of Tigers could have well had 2 titles of their own, although there would have been another tough team out of that region that would have had something to say about it.

Awesome effort by Silsbee in the 2nd half. No quit in these tigers. Congrats on being the best legitimate 4A team in the state for the second straight year!

Williams performance unbelievable 14-14 from the field and 3-4 fts. That was huge.
Congratulations Tigers on a great season. Congratulations to thos seniors , i know you didnt get what you truly deserve but what a ride you took us Tiger fans on. I cant wait to see what the future holds. I couldnt be more proud of you!!

Add to the fact that 2 who have played big parts Miller and Elam have had no points until Miller just scored with about 5 minutes left in the game.
-
Guy on nfhs just made the big point ff has over twice as many rebounds as missed shots….
-
3-15 on 3s. 4-11 on fts and outrebounded 31-14 in 3 qtrs against a team shooting 62% ……

FF out rebounded Silsbee 20-7 in 1st half and went 7-9 from FT.
Numbers we needed to beat them, although that rebounding number probably a little unrealistic for us with their size.

Yep, 4/10 in first half
Yes and seems like it was even worse after missing those first 4.

Randall will continue to put Silsbee at FT line. Tigers will have to make them in 2nd half.
Randall shot 50% from field (16/32)
Silsbee 40% (14/35)
Each team had 20 rebounds.
Fts are killing us…

No im strictly talking about Kobe’s innate ability to play through injury. Including but not limited to broken bones and/torn ligaments or tendons. Almost Wolverine like pain tolerance and recovery
Doing this as a paid professional is one thing. No need for a kid with a bright future ahead of him to risk that future by making an injury worse. Tough decision and heart breaking but its a decision not to be taken lightly. One made by family first and coaches second.

If Stafford wins, that will guarantee that Silsbee and FF will not play each other in semifinal.
Randall and Stafford both have better winning percentages than Silsbee and FF. They would be the #1 and #2 seeds. Then those two would flip to see who plays Silsbee and FF.
Now if Iowa Colony wins, Silsbee will be the #2 seed and Randall would be #1. Then it's a 50/50 that Silsbee could play FF in semis
Was just looking at that!

Yes way to go Tigers!!!!

Wow, what a game. #12 was special. The best player on the floor tonight and ice in the veins with that last 2 minute performance. Kountze did a great job knocking down free throws down the stretch of both 4th Quarter and OT and not melting down when he hit the buzzer 3 to send it to OT. Great job Lions! Heck of a game.
Was watching someones live feed on facebook and that was unreal!!

Chapel Hill trailed 52-32 in the fourth quarter and came back and won 57-55 over Huffman Hargrave.
Wow…would like to know what happened both for Huffman to have that big of a lead and what happened for them to lose it!

Hmm conflicting scores if you go to the classic web page and scroll through the scores it shows peabody by the same score….

Peabody beat Trinity Ky 48-45

Definitely would have been a much different game with those players there looked like we were tired in the fourth. Shots coming up short from field and the free throw line. Just having those two out there would have given some of those guys a little more time to rest. Not to mention. The obvious factors.

Definitely deserves to be in the conversation. His school records speak for themselves. I think some look at this discussion as who could go the fartheres hence the nba mention. And unfortunately Bush’s size alone makes that a very tough feat. No other Tiger that I have watched ever went at it with more effort or passion than Bush did.
