We have moved all over SETX and have friends in a lot of different communities.  Baseball is my main love when it comes to sports.  What I ask is report your scores.  I read almost every post when it comes to HS Baseball, but it’s hard to keep up with who’s hot, who’s not, who’s got a chance and who is rebuilding.  It doesn’t take a long time and I’m not asking for pitch by pitch.  I keep up with THSB and THSBCA, but they also don’t always have the latest standings.  Teams are through tourney time and starting district play so all I ask is keep us updated on your team.  I guarantee there is someone out there (besides me) trying to find a final or how lil’ Johnny did at the plate or on the mound.  Best of luck to all our area teams and all the young men playing - ENJOY EVERY MINUTE!!!!

Buna is just going to be that good this year. First time coach terrier has beat bridge city in 15 or 18 years Or something like that.

In my son’s 4 years, I thought his junior year was our best shot.  We played defending state champions (Flatonia), and blew them out game 1.  They were able to take the next 2 from us and advance.  They played Big Sandy the next round and did the exact same thing (lost game 1 and win 2 in a row).  My point is winning 2 is very do-able.  Set your minds to getting the bats hot and cut down on errors and you can do it.  Let’s go Rebs!

You are so correct, yesterday was a bad game and Evadale should have not lost. They went into the game tense and playing as such. 3 past balls and 2 errors cost them 4 runs. Today is a new day and its 0-0, time to redeem what happened yesterday.

Seriously, As entertaining as this post has been...My heart does go out to all involved. This stinks for everyone...a team that is punished for something they had no control of, a Coach who may have unintentionally made an honest mistake, another Coach who could "possibly" be guilty of treachery, a third team who was "possibly" named District Champs without "earning" it, or maybe even an upper-classmen on a team that is catching flak for a parent that could've "possibly" done the unthinkable. It's run it's course and it will be what it is. No matter what color you wear, we're all the same...EVERY SINGLE kid in that district worked their tail off to be the best they could, EVERY underpaid Coach that put his/her heart and soul into their program, EVERY parent who sacrificed everything for their kiddo...please just take a second and realize what it's all about. We all want the very best for our own and we're proud. And this site is a great platform to brag and showcase all the great things mentioned above...I understand that there will be strong feelings about this topic...all the way around. I sincerely wish every single player, team,coach and parent involved, the very best. Y'all go and make our area proud in the playoffs...Please don't let this mess define your season.
