He is not at LCM. He is currently playing at OF.

Not sure what the problem is with OF possibly winning district. This senior group won district in 7th and 8th grade as well. They got 2nd place in district last year as one of the smallest teams in 4A last year. This should not be a shock. No recruits. All OF kids. Great job by the players and coaches.

Who has EC beat that was a stout competitor? Kelly, Kirbyville, Liberty, or HJ? Buna is big up front which could give EC o-line some problems.

Which player from Kelly transferred to Hardin-Jefferson?

How many freshman do you see being on varsity next year at Silsbee considering they graduated a small amount of players? I remember only 1 playing significant minutes.

I believe they just replaced head football and boy's head basketball is open as well. Wonder what is going on in Hardin.

It makes him out of the playoffs in district which is what really matters.

Not that he isn't a good player, but he did not play up to the level to be on the list this past year. He wasn't even chosen for a superlative in his own district.

Big night on Tuesday for OF. Facing BC on a Tuesday against their #1 is no easy task. OF lineup is solid. Should be a good one at BC.

Seems like BC is good on Tuesdays (Oceguera) and not so good on Fridays.

Not sure that United will get 3 of the top 15 spots in the state. Two are a given, I think, but not a 3rd.

I would say the product hasn't been worth packing the stands for. Also, the university could do some more promotional to get more students and fans to the games. Hopefully both of these things can change.

Speaking of United. Has anyone seen All District selections for the 5A district? I saw on Twitter where United had all 5 starters get either a superlative or first team and a bench guy got 2nd team. Would be interested to see how many players were on the 5A All District Team.
