Had to be in Houston tonight but got some impressive reports on the Nederland freshman. Apparently put someone on a poster with a two hand dunk.  Also heard he put the clamps on LCM's best player when they were matched up.  Only seen him a couple of times but this kid continues to impress. 

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he actually control this situation? By choosing not to comply with what was asked of him by Neuman, he chose not to play in 22-5A and therefore chose to play St. Mary's school for Catholic girls. Sounds right to me.

Big difference in competition than from 22-5A. Not dogging the kid but talent is Night and Day difference.

If Colton were 6'10 he'd already be in the league. He would've been a one or two year player at a high major. I think he is good enough to get minutes in the Big 12, SEC, or PAC 12. 

I tend to agree with you.  I really don't know anyone that works harder than that kid either.  

And while that team is top 5 in basically all the major scoring records nationally, they are second in the state.  The 09-10 Yates team set virtually all the scoring records in the country.  Of course, Yates did have the advantage of having a top notch communications program...

Yep...  impressed with Wiesbrod playing undersized like that and still holding his own!  Good to see those local kids showing up like that...

Was able to view of few of his highlights on utube. He is much quicker now, and he still has the big body frame. Just as he did in HS, he either A) uses his body size against smaller guards.  Uses his quickness to get around a bigger/taller player. He had the Eubanks kid turning in circles. Reminded me of a move Hakeem use to have back in the day...

It was some time ago that Abe brought to everyones attention that Nederland had big upside this year.  Looks like his notice fell on deaf ears.  Sorta like those few who insisted Trump had a chance in the election.

After beating the # 5 TAPPS 6A team in the state, you now no longer have the luxury of flying under the radar LOL. Nice try though Abe

Wow i didnt expect the outcome of the game to be like that. Thats why i tell kids all that talking about what your going to do you better be able to back it up otherwise your just fueling the fire shut up and play ball. Let your game speak for itself instead of those 140 characters . Nederladn will always comepte no doubt  if your sleeping on the them then your crazy .
