Figure out WO-S...Hmmm... Like a 2000 player Micheal Ledet said, "Coach T says let the silver helmet do the talking." Like Garrett said on TV last night, "The game isn't won by talk but by what happens for 48 minutes on the field!" So, to sum up part of it... DON'T TALK SMACK!!! and yes, it was some of the players talking. They stopped our QB at the game Thursday and told him they were going to f$%& him. He just smiled and walked off...and we got a laugh last night about 10 pm.

I didn't get to see the stats, but I did see the game. What was the actual number of turnovers for both teams?

I won't deny that Katie Sanders and Brittney Scott deserve the honor. Of course, the only games that I saw Spears play in, she didn't score 10 points, but that was because she was up against BJ and B Scott. Maybe I am wrong about that. However, the other one, I won't comment on.

Amazing how Brittney James can have a full ride scholarship to North Texas, be voted co-MVP (which was a crock!) and not be on the ALL STATE team after making it all three years prior? I'm not knocking anyone, but most of those girls over BJ? NEVER!!! Looks like she got screwed just lik Deon did. Oh well, at least those two don't need accolades to get them where they are going!

Notice that WO-S' Jamie Smith did not even make second team and he made the All-Tournament team at the Regional tournament. Also, Richard Netherly made MVP at the Regional tournament but wasn't given that honor here. Oh well, they had a nice ride to state and no one can take that away from them. They have the medals to prove that!!

The Lady Mustangs definitely put on a show tonight. They are all unbelievable. I thought Silsbee was good. They never gave up, even after losing two of their girls to fouls. Both teams played hard for 32 minutes, but the Lady Mustangs dominated the game. BJ had another beautiful 3 pt. buzzer shot and her North Texas coach was there to witness it first hand.

Way to go WO-S. Even scored 14 points after BJ fouled out!!

where is the "Graphic Design forum"?

The Lady Mustangs beat Anahuac, 101-30something(BJ's words). She had 39 points, 13 steals and 15 rebounds.

Richard Netherly won the game for the 'Stangs with a jump shot at the buzzer. Earlier in the day, WO-S beat Newton.

WO-S beat Newton in game #1 of the Jasper Bulldog Classic and then beat Kountze, 69-67 with a Richard Netherly jumper right at the buzzer.

WO-S boys play in the Jasper tournament Friday. 10:30 am against Jasper 2 pm against Kountze The 2 pm should be a good one since WO-S only lost to Kountze by 5 at home around Dec. 17. They also play Saturday, but don't know what time yet.

If you like basketball and want a fun evening, just show up for a WO-S girls game. They are great to watch. They play great ball and work together as a team and by the third quarter, are usually playing with smiles on their faces and basically, just having a good time. They always look to me like little kids that have just gotten to the biggest play ground in the area.
